I was going to pay for someone to hold me accountable but then realized im sure I can find a group of girls in the same boat for free!! Im getting married june 2014 and am looking to form a group of women to motivate, cheer on and hold each other accountable for getting into the best shape before our big days. After the holidays, 6 months seems like a reasonable amount of time to stay commited to a goal. im thinking a closed fb group where we can post workouts, meal ideas, and weekly weigh ins (possible progress pics?!!) Also, id like to log meals on myfitnesspal.

does this sound like a good idea to anyone?

Edit: I originally thought having june only brides would be best but if your wedding is close, please feel free to join! Nothing works like team work!

I'd do it with you. I'm June 28th. First fitting is the first week of May, so I need to be done by then. I started at 157 in October, and I'm down to 152. I'm just trying to maintain until January, but I need some help on accountability over ski season, since we go on a lot of trips. I'd like to be between 140 and 145 by May 1st, which I think is very doable.

I'm June 27th!!! I have been a little up and down - not maintaining a strict workout schedule... but with 6 months to go it's crunch time!!!I haven't scheduled any fittings - my dress came in a couple of weeks ago but I didn't try it on... My FI has 2 teenagers and it's been tough getting in workouts like I used to (cardio at the gym in the AM and weights in the PM) - so the more support the better!!!

Count me in! I'm May 24th and having mild heart attacks about getting in shape on time. (I say this after just eating 2 holiday cookies at work) I have a personal trainer 2x/ week and I also just started the Bridalicious boot camp videos. I like the idea of weekly weigh ins and measurements. Maybe even a recipe swap if we find something healthy and tasty?

I am also getting married June 7th 2014. I was doing so well initially working out and eating right and the past few months ive kind of let it go. So I really need to get in gear. I am totally on board for this. I want to lost about 20 lbs I am at 152 nd want to be about 132. by April if thats doable.

I'm getting married June 22, 2014. I would LOVE to lose the 10-15 pounds that I gained over the past year. I've never been one to diet or exercise much, so we'll see how well that goes. I do have a total gym at home that I use on occasion, so I plan to get more active on it. And I'm not sure if having an accountability group will help me stay motivated or not, but it can't hurt, right? I just sent the request to join the facebook group.
