At risk of getting some negative comments! Our venue requires a final count three weeks before the wedding the last weekend in July. That date is July 4, so I'm setting a final count date of July 1 to be safe. Our situation (most of my family coming internationally from across the ocean and his coming from all corners of the US) make it so that we have a current invite list of 120 for a hopeful 80. Taking into account that quite a few won't be able to make it (via transatlantic flights), we have a B-list. I know! I know! A lot of you don't like this idea, but we can't invite more, and if more than 50% of my family can't come, then I'd like to have more people from my side come.
I'm currently wording my invitations and response cards. I need to have a date for when to RSVP by. I will be sending out the international invitations in March (it seems they won't purchase flights or hotels without one even though I've sent a STD). When should I send the US ones and what date(s) should I put as my RSVP by?
