  Try this website out. They have really nice plates too. I've seen their plates used at a resturant before and we spent several minutes looking at the plates before we finally realized they were plastic throw away things. They have "glassware" also. You can't rent it but depending on your budget & how much you need, their prices seem fair.

  Believe it or not, Costco has a nice selection of plastic stemware.  They have white plates with a silver lip and I believe they also have white with gold.  Even though they come bulk, you'll find another use for them down the road.

  Since you didn't say "disposable"and you are looking to rent, I am guessing that you don't want disposables?  I have never seen them for rent but I know Bed Bath and Beyond carries some nice ones that aren't glass.  You could also try Target or Walmart and then sell them on Craig's list when you are done.

  I'm pretty sure I've seen plastic stemware at Party City. It may not be as elegant as what you are wanting but it could be an option.
