  Oh, my god, I cracked up. Thank you for that!
  
  ETA: The father of my future children is currently playing roller hockey for the first time since university (if not earlier). Blesshisheart, at least he's playing with an equally out of shape friend, so I don't think they can do *too* much damage to each other.

  Lmao!!! That is too funny. How are you going to answer that? Our cat is pretty scared of the kitty condo at the moment but that is probably because my FI is cursing up a storm while he's trying to put the thing together. He has it in his head that we should get a kitten soon so that Calli doesn't get used to being an only kitty.

  Lmao this is a funny thread. Sigh FI and I are spending a sober evening in. We just got back from dinner, he is playing some game on his iPad and I'm watching a movie on lifetime as kitty licks himself. We are not drinking for a month.   FI and I went to the mall to look at ties for the guys in the wedding, then to TGI Friday's because we got a giftcard for Christmas. We had, like, the world's best waitress. She hooked us up with free chips and salsa, a 20% off coupon, and an enormous, over-sized Oreo Madness dessert after FI mentioned we stopped eating at Friday's 10 years ago when those went off the menu. He not only ate his giant bacon cheeseburger, he helped me finish off parts of my dinner that I wasn't thrilled with, but ate 2/3 of the ridiculous dessert. He was chattering like a chipmunk in the car. 3 minutes later, he was passed out on the couch snoring. Guess his sugar rush was short-lived. *sigh*

  I do not eat sweets, I am severely lactose intolerant AND my mother keeps telling me I look pregnant. Didn't care. Ate the hell out of one of the pieces anyway because I was in such a great mood after joking around with our waitress. It will be worth all 80 billion crunches I will have to do tomorrow. Our server got special permission from her manager to do this extra-large dessert for us because FI and I were super fun and entertaining tonight. We left her a 50% tip on the pre-coupon price, and I promised I would be back with some of my homemade treats for her. She was THAT amazing. If anyone is ever at the TGI Friday's in East Hanover (NJ), they need to ask for Caprice. She made our 2 hour dinner feel like time flew by.

  Wow that sounds so awesome. I love sweets myself so I try to avoid them like the plague ( I went through a cupcake addiction a few years back.) if we are ever in the area, we will definitely stop by there! I love their chocolate ice cream dessert. There is a wedding dress I want to try in and it is in Jersey, I'll have to check if it's in the area

  Haha hope he got the cat condo put together ok!  I told Fi a couple of the replies and showed him the cat gifs.  He giggled about it and now he's sleeping off the sugar high, cuddled up with my sister's dog we're babysitting.  I'm surrounded by sleeping furbabies right now, actually.

  I used to work bar and wait tables at a restaurant/banquet hall, so I know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude and upbeat demeanor late on a Friday night when your whole restaurant is filled with bratty, rich high school kids. This waitress was just beyond amazing, which is what will keep us coming back. That, and the return of the Oreo Madness! (Now I'm drooling just thinking about how good it was lol)

  You totally should! They have ridiculous Happy Hour specials Monday-Saturday during specific hours in the bar area and all day Sunday in the whole restaurant! FI and I had stopped going out to eat to save money, but we can't wait to go back for a couple of beers and $1.50 sliders!

  OMG! A ninja turtles snuggie! I love it! FI finally got the cat condo together. Of course the cat is avoiding it like the plague but my dog is fascinated and is using the base as a pillow.

  My mom's cats all hated the cat condos and scratching posts we got them. My kid sisters, on the other hand, loved hiding things in them!

  FI didn't get drunk last night (good thing, because he's always either super cuddly/needy, or a total jerk) at dinner with his fam. His brother, however, had way too many beers, passed out on the floor after our late Christmas with them. There is now a video on my phone, taken by FI, where we are using a feather teaser cat toy, and gently brushing around his face, as FBIL unconsciously snores and swats at it. I'll get it up asap.
