    Moose is the biggest baby ever.  When I come home, he's so excited that he jumps around me in a circle, and it's adorable!  He also always tries to lay in positions so he is touching me, even if it's just a paw.

    He also enjoys looking sad so that people give him food.  FI, my Mom, and FMIL totally fall for it.

    @AshleyNicole1218 -- Yes, she was a Jack! :) Her name was Mattie, funnily enough!

    Jack Russells are definitely nosy, hands down. Mattie would sit prairie-dog-style, too -- we always teased her and called it "sitting pretty". She would generally do it when she wanted something, like food, to go outside, or to get tucked in to bed. Mattie burrowed under blankets, too, but always made her way up to sleep with her head on the pillow. I swear, she didn't know she was a dog haha

    My Rocky would paw at covers until you let him under them. And he had to be snuggled against someone or he would scootch until he was. I miss him so much. He was my couch buddy.

    @pumpkinsandturkeys - Too funny!! Sounds like they could have been soul sisters!! My Jack sleeps as 'little little spoon' with her head on the pillow too!! And we call Maddys unusual sitting style "sitting like a lady" lol.

    It sounds like you have some really great memories of your Mattie...that makes me smile. :)

    These stories are so cute!

    We have two cats, Nymeria and Thor. I always know when my FI is almost home, because she knows the sound of the car and has an odd little chirp-meow-whirr sequence that she reserves especially for him. She also had a funny greeting for our first cat, Tiger,  who we had to put down a few months ago. Thor and Nymeria will also play fetch with a hoodie string, and they'll play tug of war with it. One will start carrying string around, and the other will attack the string, and then vice versa.
