So, MB personality types?

HisGirl was talking about MB types in another thread and it got me thinking. I've done the test several times over the last 14 years, and it almost always comes up INFP for me, though it did once come up INTP (I think there may have been some weird scoring going on there though). INFP fits me perfectly.

So, what are you?

I think I am missing something. What test? How do we take it? Sorry I am a bit behind here. Lol

LOL It's the Myers-Briggs personality test. You can do it here: http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

I don't know about over there, but here it's usually used in conjunction with aptitude tests to determine the best career options for an individual. It's also used by psychologists and psychiatrists to determine the best course of treatment for a patient (which is why I've had it done so many times).

  • ISTJ, extremely strong on the I and the J!
    KytchynWitche
  • ESTJ here! I'm a very strong J, but the E is on the weaker side.

  • INTJ. Strongly I and T

  • ENFP I just took it and that is a much different result than when I took it years ago. I was an INFJ before. Odd
  • INTJ.  Sometimes INFJ (though more frequently lately).  Strong I, strong J.  Super wishy-washy and influenced a lot by where I am in a work cycle when it comes to T/F.  I've never not been an I, N or J though and, generally, the traits match my work and interaction styles well.

INTP.  I've taken it many times and always get the same result, without fail. Introversion was 91%, intuition was 60%.
    ETA: This is scarily accurate.

  • ISTJ, high I and T.
  • INFJ, though right on the line with E/I. I'm an extrovert with people I know, but more introverted with strangers. Depending on the day, I sometimes get ENFJ.
  • INTJ, heavy on the I & even heavier on the J. I'm not shy at all, rather very reserved. And I'm actually pretty social, but it exhausts me; I crave the  down/alone time to recharge. And then there's J, oh how I ooze the J…structured, orderly, and overall breath easier when decisions are made.

INFJ here!  It's different from the last time I took it, which was in college, so that makes sense.
ETA: FI just took it and he is an INTJ.  I think both match us perfectly.

  • I just got ISTJ, but everything was under 9% except for sensing which was 24%.  Not sure what it all means, but I might go back and read more.  Don't think I've ever done that one before.  And I'm like Emmyg - more introvert with people I don't know/on certain days but extroverted other days.  My I was only 4%

    ESTJ, same as when I took it in college.  Extremely high E, low S.  Extraversion - 67%, Sensing - 13%, Thinking - 49%, Judging - 44%.

Not surprised at all-- the "key facts" has me down to a T.

  • I'm ISFJ this time, but I think I usually come up INFJ. Only moderately I, barely S, very strongly F, and fairly moderately J. I disagree with the S -- I think N is more accurate because I'm highly intuitive.

  • I'm ISTJ. Strongly on all four.

They actually had us take the test when we started med school so we could understand how it would affect us working in groups and with patients. When I took the test again last year during premarital counseling with DH, I got the same result, but was slightly less introverted. At the beginning of med school, I was as far introverted as the test could rank you. Now I'm slightly closer to E. Working with patients as well as DH's influence (he's strongly E) has allowed me to be extroverted if need be.

  • ISTJ - pretty strong on all of them, actually. FI is an ISFJ- basically, we are the same people but I am more process-oriented and he is less so. Organization, too. It is funny how our differences show up!

  • ENFP - Ugh I lost the breakdown. But I was highest on E and N I think. The description was pretty accurate, as well.

  • ESTJ- done it before and always get the same thing. Strong E and S, weak J.

  • ISFJ here; I've gotten INFJ before but I'm right on the border between S and N. Pretty strong I and very strong J.
  • ISTJ, strong on the I, weak in the S, T, and J. I always tend to get the same spread.

I just took it and I got:

    Your personality type: ESFJ.

    Strength of individual traits: Extraversion - 22%, Sensing - 9%, Feeling - 2%, Judging - 16%.

Not sure how I feel about that
  • I am
     Extraversion - 16%, Sensing - 16%, Feeling - 22%, Judging- 13%.

  • INFJ! I'm strong on everything except for I; one day I might test as 100% introverted, the next I'm creeping into E territory.
  • INFJ. Around 60%, 90%, 15%, and 1%. It's pretty accurate for me although I was surprised to not get higher on introverted.
