I'm at work (boo), but DH is also at work, so at least we're at work on the same nights now (Sun-Thurs).

I am trying to motivate myself to write a cover letter. I hate cover letters. Like....a lot.

I'm around...watching the game by myself (it looks like I may have some very crabby kiddos in my class tomorrow--they are huge Peyton Manning fans, and their loyalty stayed with him even after he left Indianapolis), working on the musical I'm directing at school, finishing lesson plans, and Skyping with my fiance.

I would rather have Seattle win. I've always found Peyton Manning annoying, and Russell Wilson went to WI, so I like seeing him do well. But that's a rather unpopular opinion here in southern IN!

Hello all. I'm around today, just got back from the Mall of America. We returned the dress that did not fit A (her bridesmaids dress) and I let her do the ropes course. Now, I am digesting dinner and returning to honeymoon planning.

I spent the afternoon doing a closet purge (literally a giant garbage bag full of clothes to donate), and then FI and I cleaned the one spare bedroom and finally set up my desk so that I have a functional home office for days when I work from home! I'm beyond excited.

Now I'm half-watching the game -- we made wings and nachos.

Also. A miracle has happened... FI is willingly doing my laundry for me!!! He actually offered! I sorted everything, and then he asks me which pile should go in next, and on which setting, and then also asks whether the clothes currently in the wash can go in the dryer, and if so, which setting and type of bounce sheet. Then he brings everything up and down the stairs for me... I'm in shock. Spoiled girl today!

We're just watching the game, finishing dinner. I've got practice tonight, so we'll be heading out soon. We'll miss the end of the game, but somehow I think I already know the outcome.

Also waiting to see if a rival team is going to get their bid to the World Championships tonight. I'm torn, cos I'd like for them to not get one, but if they do, that's 1 less team competing against us for a bid and if we continue to beat them as we have been, it's more political ammunition to give us a bid too. We'll see what happens.

I was thinking of you! I started purging this weekend, and DH was like, 'Oh, my God, you really do love me!!"

He also tried to do laundry....emphasis on 'tried'....because, blesshisheart, he needs to work on sorting. The man thinks decade-old red socks have to be washed separately or they'll bleed, but he'll put new navy-blue napkins in with light greys.

@HisGirlFriday13 -- I was wondering if you were doing your closet purge today, too! FI was quite pleased (and impressed) at the large number of clothes I was able to pitch.

I probably still have way too many, but now I need to see what I actually wear regularly, and what I'm hanging on to just because it fits and isn't ragged or juvenile.

I wish FI worried about clothes bleeding or fading. However, I think I've put the fear of me in him because he's currently hyper-conscious of not shrinking any of my clothes, unlike before haha. He actually said, "I'll gladly do all of your laundry, with no complaints -- I just need to know what goes together, and which setting." Score!

I just got here. Got bored after the first half so I got my phone. We're at our friends' house watching the game.

We chose to drive from nj to Brooklyn and I hope it doesn't bite us in the ass with traffic on the way home.

@HisGirlFirday13 why is it that men don't get laundry? I know they had to do it when living alone... My FI never had to worry about much more than t-shirts, socks and jeans. I wouldn't let him near the laundry, since I have a lot of hang to dry clothes. Rather than just reading the label, every 5 seconds, I would just get asked, "Does this go in the dryer?"

@RWS2011, dipped if I know, really, but they don't. I mean, blesshisheart, he really worries about reds bleeding (because his grandmother always washed reds separately), but the rest of it? He will happily throw my cotton sweaters, cashmere sweaters, lingerie, and sports bras in the wash, together, on hot.

*headdesk*

So now I do the laundry and he folds. He doesn't do that exactly right, either, but I can re-fold them after he's done.
