Invite wording, sure this has been asked before

How do I address an invite to my sister, her long term BF/Fi/baby's daddy, and the kids. Would it be Miss Knope's sister's name and Mr. Knope's sister's Fi's name, or would his name go first? I know the kids go in age order after the parents.

I would use the title Ms. Mary Knope unless you know she prefers to be addressed as Miss.

The outer envelope would read

Ms. Mary Knope

Mr. Josh Tree

Address

Inner envelope:

Ms. Knope, Mr. Tree, Jordan and Seth

You would only put "The Messrs. Jordan and Seth Tree" if you are not using inner envelopes. If you are using inner envelopes put the children only on the inner envelope as they are under 18. And it is Messrs. not Mstrs.

Do they live together? If no, list the name of the person who lives at the address you are sending it first.

If they do you can either go alphabetical or some folks say ladies first. I would go with ladies first since she is my sister.

Miss Mary Knope, Mr. Josh Tree, and Mstrs. Jordan and Seth Tree...blah blah blah
