None White/Cream wedding dress?

Hello Ladies,

I am a newbie and I was wondering if anyone else is NOT wearing a white wedding dress. What color have you picked out? I am would like to go for a more "Cultural feel" and do his and her matching african pattern set but the sets are really expensive....So i was thinking of just doing a wedding dress that was not white or cream......im looking for ideas..... please post pictures if you can. Thank you

Hi Plenty! Welcome to the board! I wore a cream wedding dress. I don't know if i've seen anyone wear other than white on here. but weekly there is a wedding ispiration post that i think @misstira heads up now. I don't know if she remembers but, this couple sent out a "party invite" requesting everyone wear white and her and her husband had a surprise wedding. so all their guests were in white and she was wearing this super colorful dress and her husband was in colors also. it was AMAZING! i'm hoping someone remembers that and can provide a link.

I tried on a blush Vera Wang that I really liked. The dress In those pictures is lovely!

Football wife the org I am in we wear white dresses to our balls that's where I will be wearing it again after I have it cut up in to a ball dress
