Zen inspired wedding decor ideas?

I want to incorporate some “zen” inspired decorations into my reception. Any suggestions? One thing I thought of was to have small zen sand gardens incorporated into the centerpieces, but I am not sure how budget friendly that idea would be. I couldn’t really think of any other ideas but I am open to anything, doesn’t have to just be for centerpieces. Thank you!

Well, have you thought of a color palette yet? Think clean, simplistic, natural/nature, calming colors. Not too busy or overpowering.

I am using neutral colors (champagne/ ivory/ white), although i may possibly incorporate pale blue. I just don't know what kinds of decor to go with

What's your venue like? If it goes with the venue, I'm thinking candles, natural stone, wood. I saw some pics where stones were used as place cards or place card holders. I think if your venue overall fits with this theme, you shouldn't be focusing on "decor" per say, but rather how to make all the things you "need" anyway be zen-like. Like using river rocks as your escort cards, for example.

For a "zen" wedding, I'd think you need a fairly simple space, it would be amazing if you could get wooden tables but fine if not. And then just make everything else really clean and simple and natural. Think about a nice spa or something along those lines. Maybe instead of flowers you have large green leaves. Maybe you can incorporate some kind of fountain/running water somewhere. But don't get carried away with anything, keep it super simple! Zen!
