Good morning!

We've booked our ceremony and reception space, our DJ, and our bakery. Now we have to locate a florist (also going back and forth to determine if I want real flowers or silk). Any recommendations for someone that isn't going to break the bank? Is it easier, less expnesive to do silk flowers?

Anything would help.

I love Oberer's flowers in West Chester!

& usually silk flowers are cheaper.

I am working with Susan Foy, she is wonderful!! She does great work and will work with any budget. She has a lot of great reviews as well....

I also used Susan Foy, The Wedding Designer. I had many quotes and she was by far the most bang for the buck.

I would do real flowers, Susan can work with you to make it cost no more than silk. Silk flowers keep for about 3 years until they get very dusty. I dried my real flowers and use them in wreaths and on display in our china cabinet.

I would suggest looking at cake designs that don't require that many flowers if you are on a budget. You will find that flowers will cost as much or more than the cake itself.
