Bridesmaids/Groomsmen Gifts?

What is the appropriate amount to spend on gifts for your bridesmaids and groomsmen for a low-budget wedding?

    It depends on how low of a budget you have but we're spending $25 (roughly) per person

    I think it's more important to write a heartfelt thank you note than to spend a lot on a gift.  I would get a small item to accompany the note.  Shop like it's their birthday, rather than trying to find one gift that will work for everyone.

    One of my bridesmaids had a tiny budget, last-minute wedding that I stood up for. She gave me a heartfelt note and a frame with a picture of she and I and one of my husband and I from the wedding. It was very nice.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    My suggestions are
    A glad ware container of cookies/ brownies.
    A jar with cookies pre measured in it with recipe.
    A mug with hot co-co.
    Candy home made or bought.
    Gift card to Starbucks/ target/ walmart
    Pre paid gas card from Shell/ Chevron ect.
    ( $5-$100 baced on your budget of course )
