If OP was banned, which she rightfully deserved, the thread would have been deleted since she's the one that started it. If someone is banned, all their posts are deleted. If they start a thread, the entire thread is deleted.

I never heard of a honey-do party.

Who knew NOLA weddings required standing?

Amazes me how many people think enough seating for all the guests = standard banquet table and chairs? If you are having a reception style wedding have some standard tables/chairs, but throw in some high tops, benches, sofas, bistros tables, etc. A lot of times venues already have benches already built in. Think outside the box a little people.

Just for some clarity and whatnot, why did it take so long to get her banned? The conversation went on for quite a bit of time after she called other posters bitches. That shouldn't be allowed to happen.

Is there a more effective way that we don't know about for alerting you and the other KG's to issues that require immediate attention that would shorten the response time?

I'd rather have a ban take longer than have people get banned without the mods looking into whether or not they should get banned. But I'm still always surprised when it takes a while.

I'd love to hear a summary of the DRAMAZ.

It probably went *poof* because @knotporscha couldn't be bothered to just lock the thread and delete the offending posts. Of course it got pretty crazy so I can kinda sorta understand. But it never should have gotten to that point to begin with.

@Phira ~ Honey-do question lead to "y'all are mean" posts, which lead to "but we deserve" it shit, which lead to some really fucked up etiquette breaches (not enough seats for butts and pulling venereal diseases out of cakes, etc.), which lead to a dramatic "I quit & y'all don't understand NOLA" post, which lead to a plethora of name calling by OP, which (eventually) lead to a ban.

A member gets banned (and deleted) if they violate the TOS several times. Users content is automatically deleted once they're banned.

She posted those cake pull things. Said "Whoever pulls the ring is the next to marry! Whoever pulls the stork is the next to have a baby!" and provided an etsy link for cake pulls. There was one with a crab. I wrote of my hope that whoever pulled that one was the next to get a venereal disease.
