Necklace help

What style necklace do you wear with a sweetheart neckline? Or do I just go for earrings?

    I'd have to see the dress and how much embellishment is on it. You can wear pretty much anything with a sweetheart neckline, but it might be better not to if it's really beaded or something on top.

    I skipped the necklace and instead wore a pair of gorgeous drop earrings and a sparkly bracelet.

    I think depending on the embellishment at the top of the dress, pearls would look classy. I found http://www.theknot.com/gallery/bridal-accessories/anna-bellagio/maise-bracelet and absolutely LOVE it, I couldn't find a matching necklace :( ... but if you could find something similar with just a little bit of bling to go with the pearls, I think it would be classy as well as add a little sparkle. Hope this helps :)

    Because of the amount of detail on my dress I opted for sparkly drop earrings and a bracelet. I also had a rhinestone headband. I had tried necklaces on with it and short necklaces looked nice. To be honest it was a day before final decision between what I went with and simple stud earrings with a short simple necklace.

    I am a fan of no necklace with wedding dresses.  Even with simple/less elaborate dresses, the material and lines of the neck are usually so pretty that a necklace would take away from it.

    I am still deciding if i going with a necklace or not, with my sweatheard neckline.  I have a pearl neckclace i am going to wear to my fitting to see how it looks before i decide.

    I purchased a pretty simple high necklace for mine. I think as a general rule, the necklace should not drop to the dress line. You also need to be careful to match the style and feel. For example, if you have a really simple dress, you don't want a super flashy necklace. Or, if you have a lot of silver rhinestones on your dress, then you may want to stay away from gold necklaces. But just do what feels right to you.
