I am completely torn between two dresses!!! *update

On Friday I went to try on more wedding dresses and I found two! I cannot find anything wrong with either one and I love them both. They are so completely different ffrom each other and now i dont know what I want. I have no idea what to do other than go try them both on again.

Dress 1 makes me feel like a queen and it is so magnificent and elegant. i love the lace in it and all of the details. I especially love de huge detailed train.

Dress 2 is so elegant and fun I feel young and beautiful. It reminds me of the dress from The Princess Diaries and I feel amazing in it. It is much more simple and also has a huge train but it is a simple train.

*UPDATE*

I went to try them both on again and dress #2 is more me, more fun, and more how I visualized myself on my wedding day. I did not order the dress because they cant order it from that store, I would have to go to the other boutique to order it *IF* they have it available to order. I was kind of bummed. I do not want to buy the sample as it has some imperfections plus I want it new. I will probably travel either to a store in Winter Park, FL or just go to Kleinfelds. Im still kind of upset about it. Also I would like to try a similar/identical dress with maybe a dropped waist (even though in that dress I really dont mind it) and they told me they dont have anything like that so.

They are both absolutely beautiful! I can see why you're so torn. Personally, I like the second one a little better on you. It gives you a nice shape with how fitted it is in the bodice and you still get the fullness of the skirt. However, the lace on the first dress is just so pretty and I know I'd be drawn to it as well.

I love lace so I may be biased, but I like dress #1 the best. Both are absolutely stunning and it may depend on your venue. You look gorgeous in both!

The venues we are looking at are very modern buildings/salons. And I like lace too but they both have lace in different ways! Ahhhh

I truly have no idea what to do, I hope trying them on again will help me get a better perspective.

I like the first one because I hate satin but obviously that means nothing to you and the one you should chose lol. Maybe try dancing around and see which one flows better?

I love #2, especially for a modern venue. They are both beautiful, but #2 seems more modern and formal.

I like the first one. It's classic and beautiful whereas I find the pick up skirt on the 2nd to be distracting. The 1st one also looks to be of better quality fabric.

I like them both, and I like them both on you. You definitely found two dresses that are perfect for you!

One of the things I do when I'm deciding between two things like this is that I imagine what would happen if I got a phone call saying that one wasn't available anymore, but that I could get the other one. In my case, it was deciding between two incredibly similar venues. I realized that if the event group called and said, "Venue 1 is still available, but Venue 2 is booked on your date," I'd be like, "All right, well, guess that decision is out of our hands!" But if they had called and said, "You can book Venue 2, but Venue 1 is no longer available," I would have been really sad.

Fortunately, it was just a thought exercise; we booked Venue 1

I love #1 (the one on the left). It's so flowy and pretty! I don't love satin or pickups, so #2 doesn't stand out to me.

Thanks ladies for all of the opinions!! It truly has put certain things into perspective. The final choice will be made when i see how i feel wearing each one again. Since we ares till deciding on venues will probably base my choices on other aspects of the wedding. You all bring great points to the table. Thanks again for all the help and as soon as I make a choice I will let you all know!

OP, I personally like #1 better.

@Phira - I love that! I do the same thing except I flip a coin to see how I feel about the outcome and then go with how my gut and heart felt when it ended up as going with option 1 or option 2.
