XP: Hostess Gift's For Planning Bridal Shower

Just curious, but do you normally give gifts to the ladies who host your bridal shower? Mine is this Sunday and I wanted to get them something nice, but small as I do not have a lot of disposable income at this time. Should I still treat it as a birthday gift, like normal, or do something else? I also definitely plan on including a thank you card with it, too.

    Yes, I think it's appropriate to acknowledge them with a small gift and thank you card.  What about a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure?

    Yeah, I thought about a small GC to somewhere for both, but one of my BM lives several hours from us, so I am not sure where her favorite place to get that done is. The other is more local, so that isn't a big deal as far as the nail thing goes. (I know many of the local nail places there as it's where I used to live). I was thinking maybe to a chain restaurant or something like that?

    That makes a great point! I will try that out. Only thing I am concerned about is it getting to her on time. Maybe I can order it and have it mailed to her? Hmm I will have to check! :)

    That's adorable! I think I would like that if I was on the other end. Maybe that and some chocolate! I know they like that, too :)
