Of course, DH is at work.  Right now I'm watching cooking shows waiting for 7pm so I can grab a glass of wine.

How was your Saturday?






What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Sounds like fun Addie.

    I'm happy to say I finally got my office setup.  I was waiting for some equipment to get my network working with my IP phone.  I'm pretty proud of myself that I was able to setup everything on my own.

    I giggled. It felt like we were the only ones here lol.

    Glad you got your office setup! That's pretty impressive.

    I picked FI up from the airport and we went grocery shopping and took our dog to PetSmart for some socialization and new treats and toys (because I like to spoil him!). Then we cooked a way too big lunch, watched Frozen and passed out for like 3 hours haha. We are still so full we don't want to cook fajitas for dinner!

    I wish I like rum and coke.  I just hate any type liquor with any type of soda.

    I love rum and soda.  Mostly coconut rum and Dr. Pepper though.  My ex-coworkers turned me onto it when we had a girls' night.  It's sweet and tastes vaguely like cough syrup but I enjoy it for some reason.

    @Sugargirl1019 Did you enjoy Frozen?  I kind of want to see it but after some of the latest Disney, I kind of feel let down.

    I just woke up from a nap about 45 minutes ago and am now doing nothing while my partner plays video games. I am the coolest person on the frickin planet.

    I'm here. I've been crocheting a blanket for a wedding gift. Right now it's frustrating me so I'm taking a TK break before I ball it up and I throw it against the damn wall.

    OMGSH YES! I watched it 3 times in one day and I love singing all the songs! It's wonderful. Best movie they've done in a long time.

    Might have to watch it then.  But maybe not while H is here, he doesn't like randomly bursting into song so he's not big on Disney.

    Watching "The Hunt for Red October." Earlier I watched "Catch-22" and "Young@Heart." I'm not up to knitting, but at least I'm vertical today. This is a mean-ass cold.

     I want a glass of wine, but Chef D is snuggling on me and he looks so comfy I don't want to wake him up.  I hoping he will want to change positions soon.  

    And it's gotten pretty dark in hear and I can't reach the light because of the same reason.

    It's clear I spoil my boy.

    BF and I are home and I actually insisted upon streaming Frozen for the 3rd time!

    ...I'm so lucky he loves me enough to put up with that and with me singing "let it go" in the shower :)

    So he finally moved and I could get my first glass of wine for the day.  

    I'm still watching cooking shows and wondering when DH will be home.  He said he will bring me home some dinner.   Unfortunately, I think he might have jinxed us and will have to stay late.

    DH went to the liquor store and stocked up our mini-wine fridge.

    Oh goodness, I was toodling around Pinterest and found a recipe for candied grapefruit...and I have grapefruit on my counter right now!  I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

    We only were supposed to have one, but a ton of ladies missed other games so we just stayed and played. I will hurt tomorrow!
