Signatures, GIFs, and images: A how-to guide

If you want to put a ticker or a GIF or another image in your signature, here's a how-to guide:

My Avatar is my inner bride on my settings, but a different picture (flowers) is showing next to my name. How can I get my inner bride picture to show?

Also I followed the directions on how to use my ticker as my signature, but it is not showing. Why is that?

@akastner8 -- Sometimes it takes a while for the avatars to change, but I don't know why.

As for the signature, I can help.

You have the HTML code that you need. Copy that.

What you haven't done is paste the HTML code into the HTML box. Follow the steps in my guide. You're getting hung up on Step Four, it looks like.

Go to step four, click the 'HTML' code box, paste your code, hit save, and then click the same HTML box (the piece of paper that looks like it has two opposing red arrows on it). Your code should now show up.

@beharrington -- It looks like your code is OK, just just need to paste it into the HTML box, not the regular box. Start at Step Four in the how-to guide.
