Bachelorette for two?

My best friend is getting married in a few months! She's having a small wedding comprised of family only. She was just in my wedding not too long ago and helped plan the best bachelorette party, was a great bridesmaid and I want to return the favor. Since she's having a small wedding, with no bridal party, she's not planning on having a bachelorette party, but I want to do something for her to make her feel special and bridey! Any ideas?

    My one BM was the only person that was a part of my bach party (unless you count my Mom, but that is only because we stayed at my parents house in Florida).  We went to Universal and then relaxed by the pool, drank cocktails and enjoyed some great dinners.

    What things does your friend like to do?  If she likes to pamper herself you could do an amazing spa day and then cap it off with dinner.  If you want to go super crazy you and her could go on a weekend vacation somewhere.  Just think about what she likes to do and then go from there.

    PS a small bach party guest list means a lot easier planning.

    Great suggestions! I was thinking of a spa treatment or two and then take her out to lunch and give her a bachelorette-ish gift.

    I just had a MOH, and I don't have many female friends, so I didn't want a bach party. My MOH really wanted to do something, though, so we splurged on a hotel room in Chicago that had a great view of the city and lake. We ordered room service, put on our comfiest pajamas, and ate and drank all night.

    Then, the next day, we got manicures and went shopping on Michigan Ave. It was a blast!

    I live in Chicago, so it was fun to feel like a tourist and stay at one of the fancy hotels. :) We figured it was a fun way to "travel" without spending money to travel.

    I was the only attendant for my friend's small wedding. I took her for a weekend trip to a local coastal city. We paddleboarded, walked around, did yoga on the river, and had a spa day right before coming back home. It was just the two of us, and she loved it. I loved it as well, for the dedicated time with her. I loosely planned activities, but ultimately, it was just a few things she loves to do, mixed in with some pampering. If your friend loves movies, rock-climbing, hiking, bowling, etc, find a way to incorporate her likes.

    Kat0414 - I'm in a similar position (only on the bride side of the equation).  My FI and I are having a family only wedding and no attendants to speak of (although we are having my future stepchildren stand up with us).  For my bachelorette "party" - my sister is bringing me to the spa and then I anticipate out to a nice dinner.  I can't wait!  I think your friend will be overjoyed at the opportunity to spend some down time with you.

    As another Chicagoan, this sounds awesome! What a fun idea!

    In my opinion small bach parties can be the most fun. When I hosted my sister's I took her out to her favorite restaurant, a hot stone mani-pedi massage and Magic Mike.
