Wooo!! Just need to make it through either 6 or 8 hours of work (depending on whether I'm babysitting after), then I can enjoy the rest of this beautiful Friday :-) Then tomorrow, FI, my mom, and I are FINALLY going to see a venue! I'm hoping we all love it and can just book a date then and there because the location and price works for us better than anything else I've found thus far.

YAYYYYYYYYY!

I only worked 3 days this week but it felt like the longest 3 days of my life!

Tonight H and I have a Devils game.

Tomorrow, I'm driving to Atlantic City to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday. We're spending the day at the spa, going to dinner, and then "gambling." I say "gambling" because I'm not a big gambler, I get too nervous.

Sunday, we're having a brunch for my aunt who is moving to the Philippines and then I'm driving back up for the last Devils home game of the season which is bittersweet. On one hand, I'm really bummed we didn't make the playoffs this year but on the other hand, I'm glad we don't have to dish out money for playoff tickets!

Tonight I think we're going to my BM's and her H's house to pick up a cable that FI needs to install a new hard drive. FI figured out how to stream movies from his computer to his Xbox One via an app on his phone, so he needs more storage or something. I'll make dinner and we'll finish watching The Purge.

Tomorrow, FI and his BM are going to his BM's ex-MIL's house to pick up a futon, I'll clean Buddy's room (again...) and then drive out to his BM & my BM's house where they're going to have a barbecue. I think we're going to a new bar that night too.

Sunday is yardwork. The joys of being a homeowner!

@Hummingbird125 Good luck venue shopping!!

Tomorrow I'm getting up early take Cinders for a run and then my mom, FI, me, and hopefully @southernpeach89 are going to the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta. FI and I went a couple years ago and really had a good time. There's an art festival, beer and wine tasting, food trucks, and an awesome frisbee dog competition. Then FI and I need to go to Lowe's and buy as much mulch as we can fit in my parent's suv and maybe some lumber to start building our new fence!

Sunday I'm meeting one of my BMs to go see the new Captain America movie. I'm not super into the Avengers but she is and she rarely initiates get togethers because she is very introverted so I jumped on the opportunity when she suggested meeting up. After the movie we might get lunch and do a little shopping.

Afterwards FI and I will probably do more work in the yard and maybe take the pup to the dog park or something.

@buddysmom80 I'm pretty sure the housework and yardwork never ever end. Do you ever have issues with your neighbors? Ours says stuff in a strange way to us that makes us think she wants us to do something about it...but she never comes right out and says it. For example, nearly every time I talk to her she asks about our pond and if we're keeping it. I always say yes, I love our pond, and then she goes on to talk about mosquitos. So I think she hates our pond and I think she also thinks it generates mosquitos...which it doesn't. It's not their type of preferred breeding environment. And now she's been saying stuff like...oh I think those crepe myrtles in your yard are right on the property line but I'm not sure. So we were like, um ok and? Pay for an assessment if you aren't sure of the line...it's 6 inches for crying out loud.

Yay for Friday! This week generally felt like repeatedly slamming into a wall - long days and only vaguely successful experiments. I could use the weekend.

Tonight is gaming, of course. That will end in about a month when the undergrads go home for the summer.

Tomorrow my parents are coming to town. FI and I are meeting them for lunch, not sure where yet - maybe the Olive Garden (I know, but I have a hankering for soup, salad, and breadsticks). We might meet my brother and his GF as well, but she'll be eating with her parents for sure and DB will probably be roped into eating with them as well. Anyway, my mom and dad want to drive past the new house, so I'm hoping we have time to do that. In the afternoon is gaming with my BFF. She lives 1500 miles away, so these Skype sessions are pretty much the only time I get to "see" her. It'll be the first time we've had a chance to seriously talk since I got engaged, so I'm looking forward to taking at least 10 solid minutes of gaming time away from the guys. Sorry not sorry.

Sunday is for housework? Cleaning? Packing? Relaxation? Some combination of the four. Maybe I'll send FI off to catch a matinee of Captain America.

I'm submitting part of my dissertation to my advisor today, so I'm going to sleep for a solid 12 hours tonight, following a netflix binge. Tomorrow, I have my tattoo appointment and then I'm doing nothing. Sunday is the usual cleaning, groceries, laundry. Woot.

FRIDAYYYYYY I LOVE YOU.

Tonight is usually me and FI's date night, but he hasn't mentioned anything about going out, so if we don't I'll probably make our favorite dinner - baked ziti and garlic knots - and drink lots of wine.

Saturday we are taking his parents out for a late lunch once FI is back from his band's rehearsal. Its gonna be so nice Saturday so we'll probably take our dog on a nice long walk on the nature trail. We don't have any plans for Saturday night yet, so who knows.

Sunday I really need to get some wedding stuff. I keep saying I'm gonna do it and I still haven't... $:\$

I'm so glad it's Friday the week has been long and exhausting and I was feeling like crap. I've been getting bad headaches but I think it's mostly allergy related. I will really miss doing the show this weekend and the cast, quite a bit. I am excited though tonight I have my first dress fitting. I am so excited to go see my dress again and be in it.

Tomorrow I have a friend's baby shower. I am excited about that, then we are going to dinner for Mexican food for to celebrate FI's birthday that was yesterday. Sunday we'll go to church and hopefully spend some time outside cleaning up the yard relaxing and buying my wedding band too. I really just want it to be 5pm today!

@Hummingbird125 - Crossing my fingers for your venue visit!

Today i'm only working until about 10:30. We have an office announcement & bagels at 8...so i'm curious what that's about. Then i'm probably going to go home and clean since my mom is coming in next tuesday night!

Tomorrow i'm meeting a girlfriend for brunch. She lost her dad about 2 weeks ago and obviously that's close to home for me...so we're going to meet up and just completely vent/cry/lean on each other for a bit. Then I have to rush to the grocery and figure out what the heck i'm going to make for a party. My bestie hosts a pre-Easter dinner every year and i'm slated to bring a potato and a veggie. I've been in a cooking rut...so no ideas yet but i'll come up with something and then we'll party the night away.

Sunday it's supposed to snow and be overall miserable. I'm hoping for a completely lazy day...but I may try and pull some things together for our neighborhood's upcoming garage sale so that's I'll be prepared next month. We have some items from H's old bedroom (his mom is purging like crazy) so hopefully we can make some moolah on it!

The Knot is being super slow for me too! I'm annoyed.

My boss is taking a vacation day which means I won't be called into her office and listen to her talk and talk and talk. She is a super sweet lady but she can talk!!!!

Tonight I'm cooking dinner and going to CrossFit. We are playing dodgeball at CrossFit tonight and H and I are sooooo excited!! H loves dodgeball...like LOVES IT! Hopefully he doesn't get hurt lol.

Tomorrow H has to go to work to help with this career fair thing and I plan to clean the apartment a bit and go shopping for a birthday gift for my little sister that turns 22 in almost a week. I was thinking about crafting an earring holder frame for her. I saw one of pinterest and it's super cute. @LaPeanut1018 I may not go to the DogWood Festival just because we do have some things to get done around the apartment on Saturday and if I don't do them this weekend they won't get done until May lol.

Sunday we have church and I plan to clean some more before we head to my parent's house for the usual Sunday dinner. If it's nice out maybe we will go play frisbee or something.

I cannot wait for this day to be done! I've been getting too many phone calls this week and I just don't want to talk to anyone today (with the exception of TK!)

I have a wild weekend of cleaning and cooking planned. Tonight will be groceries and laundry and finishing reorganizing my closet. Tomorrow I'm cleaning the whole apartment and doing a bunch of "stock up" cooking; I like keeping my freezer pretty full so I don't have to worry about cooking every night or I have stuff if BF is coming over unexpectedly or whatever, and I feel like I'm starting to run low so I need to do a re-fill. I'll probably just relax and watch a movie tomorrow night or something.

Sunday I am sleeping in and then going to see my parents for the afternoon/evening. We're having Easter dinner this weekend since my sister and her BF are going away next weekend...I am REALLY hoping they'll get engaged but she doesn't think it's going to happen yet. Hopefully soon though!

TK WHY YOU SO SLOW??

Yesterday was my Friday. By 2:00 I knew I would be calling in sick today, but I soldiered through the last few hours of work. So I'm at home today and I'm pretty sure I'm dying from a sinus infection. All this wedding stress is destroying my immune system.

@LaPeanut1018 I forgot all about the dogwood festival!

FI and I had planned to spend this evening picking outfits for our engagement photos, but yesterday his HVAC died, so engagement photos are no longer in the budget. We'll probably just hang out and watch a movie or something, maybe take the dogs to the dog park. I might even make FI come down here for the dogwood festival if I feel up to it.

As much as I hate all the pollen I am SO SO SO happy that spring is finally here.

TK is being a pain for me too! I thought I was going nuts.

This should, hopefully, be a relaxing weekend. I need to plan meals pretty thoroughly this weekend, since Passover is starting Monday night (I think?) and I'm going to try to keep kosher. It'll be much easier to keep kosher after Tuesday, which is when I'm in a poster session all. Damn. Day. Followed by my committee meeting.

Today, I need to meet up with my friend to work on a homework assignment. We're both doing somewhat badly in the class we're taking, and since we need at least a B for the course to count, somewhat badly isn't going to work.

I'm planning on doing a bit of wedding stuff this weekend. I need to talk with my grandmother about the wedding cake, now that we have a contract and a quote. I need to get back to making flowers; I think I finally have all the materials (e.g. ribbon, vases).

Seriously looking forward to this weekend, and also next week, because it's finally my spring break!

Tonight I'm going shopping with my friend's MOH to finish shopping for the bachelorette party tomorrow. Just gonna get her a sash and some drinks/snacks and whatnot. She didn't want anything particularly wild, so we're just doing dinner and then a sleepover with games and movies and whatnot. Her FI's bachelor party is on Monday through Wednesday (overnight trip somewhere close by with his friends), and for some reason she is really preoccupied with how much he's going to drink (???), so I will probably spend some time with her one of those evenings to get her mind off it.

I picked up a lot of extra work for next week, but apparently a ton of us in school have birthdays in April, so we are all planning on doing some kind of mysterious something to celebrate together. I don't know what yet; probably dinner and drinks at some point during the week. I also got a LivingSocial deal to a local paint night, kind of the like the one someone else did on here (was it @Ollie08?). I remember thinking it looked fun, so when I got the deal I figured I would try it out. I'm excited!

TGIF!!

I'm so glad it's finally friday. I have an appellate brief due next Thursday that I just haven't spent as much time on as I should have (too much knotting

) and I've had two hearings this week so that sucked up all my time.

Saturday is BF's birthday so he gets to pick whatever he wants to do. So far the day looks like, brunch with bottomless mimosas, followed by Captain America, followed by Indian food. Sounds great, but I will definitely not be productive tomorrow! So we probably won't be going out tonight, so I can get some extra work in.

@LivLeighton your sleeve looks amazing! Are you going to get it all filled in/shaded in similar colors to the top portion? I hope your results come back with good news!!

@lalalaurita I'm sorry your FI's HVAC went bust and you guys can't do e-photos anymore. Maybe you can get his parent's to help take a nice photo of you two just so you have something for save-the-date cards? Also, my BFF who is getting married in May JUST took her e-photos last month so there's nothing stopping you from doing it a little later down the line! Also, you should go to the Dogwood Festival. FI's and my favorite part is the disc dog competition! Plus this weekend is going to be gorgeous!

Woooooo Fridayyyy!!

This week has dragged it's sorry ass across the carpet of my life and I am so happy that it's Friday! It actually hasn't been a bad week at all, just slow as hell.

Tonight I have a date, so that should be fun. He lives an hour away so I already feel tired at the prospect of this actually being promising and turning into anything and having to make that trek a lot. I'm so lazy that I may just be single forever.

Tomorrow is cleaning and C25K with the sis in the morning, then running a couple errands and getting ready before heading into the city for a friend's birthday. I am not all that excited about it because her place is a pain to get to and I've never not gotten a parking ticket when visiting, but I know I will have fun once I am out with everyone. The place we are going is a dueling piano bar, so that will be really cool.

Sunday I plan to leave her house pretty early and I want to do another C25K day when I get home. The sis and I are planning to go out for ice cream at the BEST place ever with a friend of ours, and possibly a matinee. We will probably just relax in the evening, possibly go to my mom's and have her feed us something delicious. We really need to sit down with a calendar because my sister has 7 weekends left after this one before she leaves and we have a bucket list of things to accomplish - to name a few, sister tattoos, going to a paint bar, visiting Newport for a day, a bar crawl in our town, etc. Planning it out will be bittersweet, but fun.
