personal URL for website? Can it be done?

Hello Community!

I'm putting together my wedding website and I would like to change the URL to a personalized one. I realize I have to pay for this which is fine...I don't want all the back slashing and confusion that it has now. It also says "wedding" in it and I'm not putting together a wedding...but an engagement party and I don't want to confuse my guests. Is there a way to upgrade this option? I already have my website put together and ready to go...just don't like the URL. Is it too late? Thanks!

We bought a .com from godaddy, and then had it redirect to the free site we made on the knot. It has worked great. Think I paid under $20 for 2 years of owning the domain.

Square Space is supposed to be a good. Apparently if you use a yearly thing with them you can get a customized one. http://help.squarespace.com/guides/how-do-i-register-a-custom-domain-with-squarespace

Okay I'm back...haha! Got my domain name through godaddy. How do I re-direct? Does it go from my NEW domain name to theknot or the other way around? Thanks for your help!
