I'm posting early!

I have my trigger finger release surgery/procedure today so we'll see if I can type later (I still will have my phone to read posts and such, only need one hand for that).

Depending How I Feel:
Friday - Get my thumb fixed. Go see my parents. Watch TV (I have like 25 hours of various shows that I haven't watched: Supernatural, The Originals, and who knows what else).

Saturday - FI goes in for his 1 week out Lasik appointment. Lasik seems to be going well, totally weird seeing him without glasses! We also have a Arena Football game in the evening. More TV watching in there.

Sunday - I think I want to go to the outlet malls. More TV watching.

Monday - I'm off! YAY! More TV watching and being lazy.

@dignity100 good luck with your surgery today!!!!! Take all the time you can to recover, surgery is such a shock to the body, no matter how small a procedure. Like I should talk, I had a 1 hour surgery on a Friday and was back at work by Monday...so don't go by me!

Tonight nothing planned just going to exercise and watch some DVR, eat dinner and wait for FI to come home from work.

Saturday I'm going into the city to meet up with @swazzle and @hummingbird125 for boozy brunch. I'm so excited, I feel like I haven't seen them in FOREVER (even though I just saw @swazzle last month). After brunch, who knows what's going on because it all depends on how drunk I get. I was ordered by FI to stay in the city until at least 3pm since he's working some OT. I have NO problem with that.

Sunday is grocery shopping and going to Best Buy since some asshole stole my iPhone cord from the office I worked out of yesterday. I'm really irritated by this. I also need a new case for my iPhone since I hated the Otter Box I bought for it, so I decided to not use anything at all. The other day FI noticed I had a ding in the corner from when I dropped it in a hotel lobby in London after too much vodka so he's like "GET A NEW CASE NAO".

TGIF!

Tonight is my friend's wedding! YAY! So I'm spending the whole day gettin' pretty and hanging out with the bridal party. It's going to be so much fun, she worked so hard planning and did a great job, so I hope she will relax and enjoy herself today. I am little nervous because this will be the first time C and I are in the same room since we broke up, but otherwise, I am so excited to see them get married and then eat, drink, and dance!

Tomorrow is my catch-up day for school. A friend and I have a project to finish up, so we're going to knock that out in the afternoon. Evening will probably be spent being introverted and watching something from Netflix, not sure what yet.

Sunday I am working. Meh.

Yay Friday!!!!

Tonight, H and I have a Devils event. They're letting us skate and then paint the ice.

Tomorrow, I'm going to boozy brunch with @buddysmom80 and @hummingbird125 which will be a blast, as always. Afterwards, we talked about going to the cat cafe that's open this weekend only! I jokingly told H that I was going to be bringing home a new member of the family.

Tomorrow night, I got free tickets to the American Comedy Awards but I might not be going because I might not have anyone to go with. Also, I'm not sure if it's wise to show up there drunky.

Sunday, I'm going to finally switch out my winter clothes for my summer clothes (not because it's warm here but because I have to pack for Costa Rica) and then I have a hair appointment in the afternoon. I'm not sure what to do with my hair! I keep going back and forth between chopping it off and just getting a trim. Decisions, decisions.

I have a half day at work today and right from there I am heading to the airport. I'm flying out to Disney tonight and staying for the weekend. It's the Cheerleading Worlds this weekend and I am going to watch on Sunday morning and fly home Sunday night. I'm really excited to see all the big name teams from all over the world and hopefully trade a few T-shirts/Bows.

let's see, the past week or so has felt like finals week, but in real life. last night was my kids' piano recital, and that was the last BIG thing that I had to do. today I'm off work at 1:30 (I worked some overtime this week, so I'm flexing and leaving early today, hooray!). H and I are going to run and get our groceries at Sprouts before it gets too busy, and if we have time, stop by the alterations place to pick up a few things we're having fixed. I want to squeeze in my Insanity workout before I have an extra piano lesson to teach at 5:30, but we'll see. after the lesson, we're going to eat at our favorite Mexican place, get a cookie and some iced coffee, and depending on how warm it is, we might take over the patio there and just hang out and CHILL. I think later, I'm going to make him watch Frozen with me so I can see what he thinks about it. like I've said before, I wasn't impressed with the villain (villains? I still don't even know). the music was GREAT, though.

tomorrow I'm getting up early to be at the Farmer's Market by 8:30. I want to pick up some fresh strawberries and all my seedlings. I plan on getting all sorts of tomatoes, peppers (hot and sweet), pole green beans, maybe eggplant or squash... we'll see what else they have. and then I plan to dig around in the dirt and plant everything later that day! Saturday evening I'm tutoring a girl from one of the colleges around here for her Piano Final next week... and then Saturday night/Sunday morning we might be getting some severe weather and tornadoes, so who knows if we'll be sleeping or watching the weather!

Sunday... will be slower. I'll be able to clean up the house, nap, read, and just kind of chill out after having a crazy week or so.

Fridayyyyyyyy! I felt like this week would never end!

Today is a relaxed day at work; my co-worker and I have a presentation downtown at 10, and I'm not going all the way to the office just to turn around and come all the way back downtown for that, so I'm still at home in my pjs! The session we're presenting at goes until 1, so we probably won't be back at the office until 2, at which point I have a webinar…so I predict I will not get any real work done today. Tonight BF and I are going to be lazy and probably start season 3 of 24

Tomorrow I have a bunch of errands to run, and I'm meeting a friend for brunch or lunch…depends on his other plans. Then BF and I are going to look for a window AC unit for my apartment…the building has central AC but it won't be on until the beginning of June and my apartment is stupidly hot in the afternoons already (so much afternoon sun)

Sunday is church and stuff with BF's family and just relaxing.

I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. Tomorrow I'm getting brunch with a friend, then lunch with FI and maybe going for a walk in Freedom Park, then we're going out to dinner for FBIL's birthday. So I guess tonight I'll be relaxing at home while FI frantically searches for a gift for FBIL. Sunday is church and stuff.

Happy Friday!!!

FI and I were suppose to head up to Northern Michigan at noon today to visit his grandparents, but we got a call last night that his grandpa had a heart attack. He had surgery last night and they put 2 stints in because he had an artery that was 100% blocked and another that was 50% blocked

Last we heard he is doing fine and recovering. So now I'm not sure what we're doing this weekend since we were suppose to be in MI. We're having our weekly date night tonight...not sure what that will be. Other than that, who knows.
We did get our engagement photos back yesterday which made us both really happy

I'm so happy with the way they came out!!

@CocoBellaF - I'm so scared, though! I used to always have short hair but then when I got engaged, I let it grow and cut a few inches off last November and I've been really missing my long hair. BUT, summer is coming and I could use a change................. AHHH!

I'm starting to feel that the end is near...the end of my vacation! So sad, but really there is only a month left of the school year after this so I cannot complain. Today I plan on doing a bit of reading, pinning and making some chapter notes for school (cannot be a total waste of a day). I have downcity lunch plans with my dad, cannot wait for that. It's our favorite Italian restaurant :-)

Tonight will probably be boring unless I decide to make my own plans. Tomorrow I plan to go grocery shopping and clean. Sunday I will probably be super careful with my time, as it will be the last day of vacation and I will return to the minions on Monday.

@CocoBellaF, Frozen seems like one of those rare Disney princess movies that men LOVE. I always catch my brother and a couple male friends singing the songs and quoting lines from it. I hope your H enjoys it!

I have yet to see Frozen. I haven't really heard too much about it from the 6-8th graders either. But, I do know that there is hype about it. I guess I'm missing out!

I'm home sick from work today

I brought my laptop home though, because I have a few things to do for the weekend, so I'll be doing some work, just from the couch, while getting snuggles from my monsters.

Tomorrow I have a lacrosse game at 1pm. It's our last regular season game, so it's senior day, and we'll do a nice little ceremony for the guys beforehand.

Sunday will probably be cleaning and relaxing. Hopefully I'm feeling better by then. Ugh.

@swazzle, @buddysmom80, & @hummingbird125 - I wish I could have made it down for boozy brunch

we'll have to plan one as soon as all my sports are over!!

@severmilli - I hope FIs grandfather is okay. My mom had three stents put in a couple years ago, and she's doing wonderful! I'll keep my fingers crossed he stays healthy.

@TwoDimes @goldenpenguin Thanks! FI actually just called me 15 mins ago...his grandpa had a really bad night last night and isn't doing well this morning. Apparently there's a lot of damage done to his heart and since he's so old he isn't dealing well with it, so we're actually heading up to MI this morning to meet his family at the hospital. Its gonna be a very long and tense 8 hour drive

I'm pretty excited about my weekend, well mostly for tonight. Yesterday was my birthday and tonight my bf is taking me to a Twins game. I hate that I'm slightly convinced that I'm getting engaged tonight, because as much as I think it.. I keep thinking "I have waited forever for this, there is no way it's actually happening." However, there have been some things I've noticed that make me think it may happen... aghh!! I am HOPING to just not think about it and enjoy our night out kid free!

I literally have ZERO plans the rest of the weekend, which I'm pretty excited about in general, I'm thinking I"ll probably buy a bottle of wine and rent a movie tomorrow night...

Today hubs is off so we are opening a joint bank account and getting his free suit from men's wear house ordered lol. Then we are going to Orlando to make dinner with my sister and her bf and then go mini golfing.

I don't think we have plans for Saturday or Sunday yet. After getting married we apparently don't make many plans

I'm hoping to start my new job next week (my bg check just needs to clear) so we will see how that goes. It'll be nice to have some extra income that's for sure.

@cocobellaf glad to hear that you are able to slow it down slightly this weekend! I envy your energy...since I have been a sloth this week! Italian food is so delicious! I plan on getting clams casino and maybe some lobster ravioli. I cannot wait for 12:30!!!

Tonight I have to run to Hobby Lobby for some wedding things. Then home to relax. I don't have too much to do tonight so hopefully just a movie in with FI. Tomorrow I have to be up early I'm going to my niece's dance competition. I'm looking forward to it I just wish it wasn't so early. FI is also playing in some hockey tournament. Not sure what the plans are for the rest of the day, relax and a nap. Maybe some gardening and work on the yard.

I am so excited for Sunday, we are meeting with our florist for a mock up of our centerpieces so I am excited to see how they will turn out. We also have our cake tasting!!!!! I can't wait for it. I've been excited about that since the moment we got engaged. Yay cake. Not sure what else we have planned for the weekend.

@BreMR OMG just read your weekend plans! That's definitely exciting, especially the possibility of it being at a game. But even if it doesn't happen, I'm sure it will be a blast! I love going to baseball games, hate watching them on TV. Keep us posted!
