    @BreMR and @FoxandBunny, Exactly!  Why would a guy ever think this is a task he can manage alone? lol.  Thank you ladies for letting me be honest about my feelings. I appreciate that you didn't call me a spoiled bitch, that's how I feel about not loving my ring.

    @carliealissa - Why would you be a spoiled bitch for not loving your ring? It's something that will (hopefully) be on your hand forever, so you need to love it. You just don't love it and that's fine. Jewelry is so personal that it's hard to pick something out without the person who will be wearing it. Heck, my parents have been married over 25 years and my dad still has to take some jewelry back because it's not quite my mom's taste. That's just my view of it.

    @Blackbird230 - I'm glad I'm not crazy or something for feeling that way! I'm sure I'll obsess over my dress too when the time comes.
