Ours looks about the same. About 6 or so inches. It was a winter wonderland this morning. Almost fake like. Maybe it was because I was half asleep this morning, but I felt like I was dreaming.
I will see if I can upload a picture.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

I bet it is pretty up there. Not so much down here. Slushy roads and a shit ton of wind. Apparently we got a bunch more down south than they did in the city. My sister said they barely have covering on the grass and the road are just wet. I've never been so glad I work half days from home on Mondays. Me = PJs all day.
Oh no!!! If it makes you feel any better, I think we're getting about 6 inches of rain right now. Michigan had e-fucking-nough snow over the winter though, and it only stopped a few weeks ago. I think there would seriously be a mass exodus if it snowed again now.
Ugh thank god this didn't hit MN, we've only been in the clear for about a month. Nothing would shock me anymore. Much wine for you. Or maybe brandy or something else kind of wintry.
Ugh. I feel for y'all in heat waves, too. My mom is in NC and she said it's pushing 90 with hella high humidity today. I fear Ma Nature is just pissed at everyone everywhere.
And I like the way you think, @FiancB! Off to add some Bailey's too my coffee
We've got gorgeous spring weather, which is awesome because usually it's already hot. Though end of the week says 102 (blech, already?!). I've been trying to be outside enjoying it while it lasts before our first heat advisory hits.
This has been the worst winter ever. I feel for you. When we were still getting snow a few weeks ago I was like shit...maybe we should re-think what we are wearing for engagement photos (which are this weekend). It's May mother nature! Get your act together!
I've been in Arizona all weekend, so the thought of snow terrifies me at this point. It was 90+ all weekend and this morning when it was 70, I was caught saying "Well, at least it is nice and cool today".
Goodness gracious. Where do y'all live that you're getting snow in mid-may?
I'm sending you lots of good vibes and warm thoughts.
We're in Denver. Spring's are notoriously unpredictable here (not uncommon to have 50+ degree temp swings day-to-day), but this isn't normal this late in the game. We usually go with the Mom's Day rule of thumb for planting flowers & such, but even that was foiled this year. The beauty is that it'll be sunny tomorrow and all melted/back to "normal" by Wednesday (…knock on wood).
I live near Aspen. It's my first spring here, so I do not know if this is normal or not. I do know people have told me they have skiied on 4th of July.

I am a CA transplant living in IL now. Let me be clear, I love snow. I love winter, its why I moved here. That being said, this last winter was crazytown and even I got sick of the cold and snow. If I had that happen here I honestly would have cried. And I wouldn't blame you if you wept into a glass of wine or four.

I dunno about skiing on the 4th, but my family's had a snowball fight that weekend before up around there. (Friend with a cabin.) I told mom at least she can have the 2 kids living at home shovel the driveway for Mother's Day this year. Meanwhile, I just live in fear of high winds that might start to circulate.
