My awesome MOH hosted a fantastic couples shower for us on Monday and I have to brag on her. It was so beautiful and classy; I could hardly believe it was for us. It was held in FI's and my backyard, and she wouldn't let us lift a finger to help (as much as we tried!) Since it was on Memorial Day, it was relatively small, but it seemed just right. And the food was fabulous! Crab salad, homemade pimento cheese, crostini, chicken salad in phyllo cups, cucumber sandwiches, sausage balls, cream puffs, strawberries, 'see thru sangria.' Lots of sangria! What an amazing day! (Sorry for the blurry pic).
Oh, and the thank you notes were in the mail today (which were addressed solely by me. None of that write your own out at the shower nonsense! LoL).
