Poughkeepsie and Fishkill NY

Hi all,

 

My ceremony is in Fishkill and the reception is in Poughkeepsie, NY. Can anyone suggest some good places to go to between these two areas for pictures? I am at a loss here...Any suggestions are welcome!

    Locust Grove   http://www.lgny.org/   I am not sure if you need permission or not to take photos there, but I was in a weddign once that took them there.

    You can also go down to the water front (waryas park)which is under the walkway over the hudson.

    the Marist college waterfront. Ask your photographer. They should know the area well. :)

    McCann golf course near Christo's off of Spackenkill Rd. is in Poughkeepsie and is pretty nice. I live right near there. Not sure if you have to actually hold your wedding at Christo's in order for McCann to allow you to take pics, but it might be worth inquiring about.
