    Coffee.

I'm never hungry first thing in the morning, and don't wake up early enough to cook anything anyway. By the time I get to work I'm usually too busy to eat and the coffee tides me over til lunch. Sometimes I'll have an English muffin and peanut butter in the office, but our toaster here sucks now so I haven't been doing that as much anymore.

I always do eggs over medium on the weekends, usually over toast and avocado, sometimes over potatoes.
This is basically me.  I'm not hungry right away, then I'm busy.  And if I'm home alone, I usually get wrapped up in whatever work I'm doing and forget to feed myself.  So I'll eat nothing, then get really ravenous later and eat whatever's in sight. :-/
True story, I have alarms set on my phone to go off to remind me to eat. I take ADD medication which curbs my appetite. It also makes me hyper focused on whatever it is I'm doing. So I have to set reminders that I need to eat. Sometimes it makes me feel like a small child that needs to be supervised. But so far it's the only thing that works. If I go off my medication, I don't get shit done and my brain is all over the place. I'd rather the phone alarms.
Fi often will text me around lunchtime to say, Did you eat anything?

I actually love to eat.  But I get tunnel vision focus when I'm working on something, and I just won't realize I'm hungry.
Yes, that's what it's like for me! I love food. Big fan of food. And eating is just fantastic. I can't cook, but I love eating. But I just get focused on something, don't feel hungry, and forget all about it.

FI's the one who started setting alarms for me. Then I rolled with it. Because it is a good idea for me.
  • I'm lucky that we have a small kitchenette at work because I really do not like to eat immediately after getting up (plus, I try to sleep as late as possible without being late to work so no time to eat). I usually have a couple of hard-boiled eggs, some toast with local jam, and orange juice. Sometimes I will have some berries or other fresh fruit if I happen to have them on hand.

How do I not know anything about eggs and avocados together. . . . it seems to be a thing.  I need to get on this!
  • I was a bad girl this morning and didn't have breakfast. I anticipate though that once everything settles down a little more in the house I will be making oatmeal just about every day.
  • I have to eat breakfast before I start the looong drive to work, or else I start to feel faint about halfway there. I usually have refrigerator oatmeal with fruit; Greek yogurt with fruit; or a smoothie. And lots of coffee. If I made pancakes or waffles on the weekend I'll freeze them in single servings, toss one in the toaster oven and top it with fruit and maple syrup. If I know I have a really busy morning and will probably have a late lunch, I have a bigger breakfast. I slice some veggies and cook bacon the night before, then make myself an omelette with bacon, cheese and ancient grain toast.

  • I have to eat breakfast pretty early. If not I feel like I'm dying. I don't wake up early enough to make anything though so it's never great. I usually make my own instant oatmeal in the evenings. Quick oats, flax meal, and a ton of dried fruit. I also will have a yogurt and coffee. If i have leftover muffins I eat those but they are my weakness and don't last long. Today I had an everything bagel.
  • 1. Cereal (usually rice krispies) in yogurt or soymilk with fruit on top, and a slice of toast. 2. Toast with ham and melted cheese. 3. Bagel Thins with cream cheese and slices of banana or berries. 4. If I want to spoil myself, a bagel with cream cheese on one half and Nutella on the other.
