Hoping you can help - bridal shower venue

Hi! My brother is getting married in November and his fiancé has requested her bridal shower be in NYC. I live in PA and the MOH lives in CA so we have no idea of where to start. We were thinking of doing a brunch for a maximum of 20 people. Brooklyn Winery was a bit pricy. I have to make calls to Victory Garden Café and Jane. Can anyone give other recommendations? SOHO and the Village has pretty cool restaurants also.
46th street between 8-10th avenue have a ton of restaurants that have back rooms for private events.

Calle ocho has the best brunch in the city, and they are big enough to acomodate big groups
