Beach Wedding Centerpieces

Hi, All! My fiance and I are looking into doing our own centerpieces. Our idea is something like the picture attached. Does anyone know of a good website to order vases and/or shells in bulk? Also, what's the best way to put a candle in the sand? I could just see the melting wax and sand not really going well together. We though about going with flameless candles, but didn't know if the sand would get into them and ruin them. Any thoughts? Thanks ladies!

  • You could use a votive in the glass votive holder. Then the melting wax would be contained. Or buy the flameless and see how they hold up to sand. I don't have any experience with that.

You can get inexpensive vases in bulk on dollar tree's website. Or you can look on saveoncrafts.

  • Penguin44 is correct about the votive holders and Dollar Tree has everything.  You also might want to check Oriental Trading for shells, they always have a ton.
  • Save-On-Crafts! I am doing the exact same thing and this website has everything!! They have vases, candles, sand, sea glass, shells, literally everything. And I totally agree with Penguin44, that website also sells those in bulk too.  Not joking this website has been a life saver for me!

  • Make sure your venue allows candles.
