hot pink/zebra weeding help!

hey our wedding colors our hot pink and black but i recently found some zebra print that I love like the flower basket,cake,toasting flutes cake server and paper latterns everyone that knows me thinks it is totally me and even my fiances mother who is old fashioned and i thought she would HATE  it likes it the only person who dosent is my mother she thinks it is going to look trashy :( I dont plan on having to much zebra print just alittle here and there.....If you went to a wedding with zebra print what would you think?

    The only advise I could give you, is do what you want, my mother wasn't too thrilled about the idea of zebra for my wedding either, I even had wedding planners telling me that zebra was "tacky" and "juvenile" ... But that's not stopping me, it's your wedding, nobody else's, don't let someone's opinion get in the way of what you really want ... Laughing

    Now, as far as ideas where to find things ... Check Etsy, weddingbee.com, ebay ... There's a few places in the Ross Park Mall that might have some fun zebra stuff ... Hobby Lobby, Pat Catans, JoAnn's ... Anything you see online that's a DIY, you can adjust it to your liking ...

    Me and my fiancee decided on a little bit of zebra in it. I have tons of zebra in my life, and he thinks it would be a great way to show who i am. We are going with Black and pink flower girl basket, ring bearer pillows, guest book and pen with a zebra bow. I am also going to use fake gerber daisies as my flowers and we found some that are zebra so we are going to incorporate them as well. That is all we are doing thought, because i do not want to go overboard with it. I ont't want it to be too much, because it is my fiancees day too.
