Processional song for Violin

Hello everyone, 
I am having my cousin play the violin for my ceremony.  I am having a hard time trying to figure out a song for me to walk down too.  I wanted something more modern that people will know, but sound good on the violin?  I am having Canon in D for my girls to walk down too.  If anyone could give some ideas that would be wonderful.  Thank you!

    Modern as in a song that would currently be on the radio? Or more modern classical music? We have a violinist as well and wanted modern songs played during cocktail hour and as prelude music, so we listened to a bunch of Vitamin String Quartet music to choose songs.  It might something you could do.  They do modern songs on string instruments. You can listen to them and get an idea of what the songs would sound like with your violinest.

    My string quartet and harpist played the Feather Song from Forrest Gump as our processional.  It was lovely.  I wonder if a single violist could pull it off?
