I love the dresses everyone! I ended up getting a dress this weekend (totally unexpected - was only planning on going to try a few on to get ideas!) The dress was different that I thought I would get. I assumed I would like strapless mermaid or trumpet on me, but I ended up getting a backless column/sheath (I think that's what you would call it?)!. I knew as soon as I tried it on and could not imagine liking another dress more. It's Maggie Sottero Janalyn.

Everyone's dresses are so pretty! I went dress shopping this weekend and found my dress. I saw this dress before I was engaged when I went to pick up my bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding. I completely forgot about it until I was going through the racks with the consultant. Its a Kenneth Winston. I ordered it in ivory with an all ivory belt.

I'm not going to look for dresses probably until June. I have a pretty good idea of what I want. The only thing I'm worried about is how things will fit length wise...I"m 5' 1"!

Ordered my dress last week - Allure 9110 in Ivory

I originally had my heart set on mermaid type dresses but after my first shopping trip I was leaning more towards a ball gown except I hate how heavy all the dresses felt. My mom & I went last weekend because I wasn't feeling like a bride and wanted to get excited again. I went into the shop thinking I am not going to find my dress.This was the first one I tried on and LOVED it! I tried others on and they just didn't fee like the one. Put this one on and I was sold - feels great on and I can move and dance without being weighted down. Plus my mom cried (she doesn't do that too often) so I knew it was the one.

I haven't gone yet, waiting til June, but my fiance saw one of my bridal mags at my place one weekend and liked that kind of feathery/ruffle-y skirting. At first I thought "No way! I want lace!" but now the more I look at pictures the more I really love the textured skirts!

Thank you! Yeah I always wanted long sleeves but lace sleeves but now I don't want to look like I am ripping off Kate Middleton and so I found this and I LOVE it! I wear a lot of long sleeved thinner shirts anyways so it's really a dressy version of what I already wear.

Guys, everyone's dresses are just beautiful! I also love Maggie Sottero dresses! This one is my favorite so far. I haven't tried on anything yet because I really need to lose some pounds beforehand and that fact that I have to wait is just killing me! And I've already looked through tons of pictures on the Internet which makes it even harder.
