What's for dinner?

I'm packing up the kitchen, so we can't cook. I asked FI to pick something up. He texted to say he was coming home with "pizza and crazy love"...

By which he meant the pizza roll and crazy love roll from a local sushi place. I am a very happy camper.

  • Portobello burgers topped with blue cheese avocado and Italian dressing with French fries and salad.
  • I ate leftover mac and cheese before I left for the gym.

  • I'm making grilled chicken caesar salad, but I can't decide whether to marinate both pieces of chicken in italian dressing, or if I should put some hoisin sauce on mine instead.

I'm fucking obsessed with hoisin sauce.

Spicy sausages, corn, and fries.  FI had salad instead of the corn and fries because he is trying to eat healthier.

  • I had mini popcorn shrimp with sweet chili sauce and a wheat sandwich.  I got the sauce from red lobster, its sooo good.

  • I'll probably just pick up a burger from Burger King. It's my school night and Fi has a work dinner thing, so we'll both be out.

Last night we have Chicken Tikka, and it was awesome! I had some for lunch today too.

So I am obsessed with Cinnamon Pear  and the Red Apple Balsamic vinaigrette. I tried the Red Apple the other day and now I'm using Cinnamon Pear.
Chop up the tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh spinach, spring mix, and drizzle with the C.P Balsamic Vinaigrette.
I have Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and Garlic Olive oil. I use the Oregano Balsamic along with the olive oil and brush it on my chicken so it can marinate. Then put them on the grill. I use legs, breast, and thighs and everything is so juicy and tender. It works on pork, salmon, and different types of fish.

  • We're attempting steamed muscles in some sort of white wine sauce for the first time. It'll either be delicious or discussing…please, please, please be the first!

  • English country beef casserole with cheesy corn drop biscuits and caesar salad on the side.
  • Two avocados with salt and lemon juice. After that, I might blend some frozen berries and almond milk to make a smoothie. I'm getting better at big breakfast/small dinner.
  • I'm making my favorite lazy dinner- meatballs and rice. You cook white rice with a can of cream of celery and then add frozen meatballs and diced carrots until they're tender. Super easy, tasty and filling.
  • Easy dinner tonight - hummus crusted chicken (using spicy chipotle hummus) and oven roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower. We aren't very creative with dinners in our house.

I had grilled chicken, squash and zucchini, and some cornbread for dinner. It was good :)
  • Turkey meatloaf and Mac and cheese. It was delish. I just pinned a bunch of new receipes now to get to the food store and pick up the missing ingredients. I might do curbside tomorrow. This way I can order it on lunch and just pick it up on the way home. I thought about going now but I'm already in my PJs.

  • leftover tacos from the other day. Nothing exciting.

  • Ramen. Maybe I'll spring for one of the soup cups. It's quick and easy when I'm doing laundry and lunch was heavier - I can get away with this.
  • Chicken alfredo tonight, and prepping teriyaki citrus chicken for the crock pot tomorrow. I'm trying to get into the habit of prepping the next night's meal the day before so we eat at home more.
  • Baked chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans. Meh.
  • Rustic Italian tortellini soup with spicy turkey sausage.

  • Fresh wild-caught salmon (pacific of course) and baked potato with butter-garlic shrimp. Leftovers from yesterday and the Saturday (my birthday salmon!). :) Yumm.

  • I am trying to make my money stretch till Friday. So I made some whole wheat pasta and added broccoli. I made a homemade garlic and tomato sauce with sauteed (frozen from TJ's!) mushrooms. It was easy and delish!

  • Orange beef stir fry with noodles. DH has decided that he doesn't like it so he's having toast with Dutch chocolate sprinkles. I'll take the left overs for lunch tomorrow.

  • My sister came over to help me pin the sleeves for my dress, so we ordered Chinese takeout because they're the only place here with reliable delivery besides Dominos.

We need to smog our new car so we can register it (well, husband needs to smog it, but I'll probably tail along because sports car) so we'll probably eat out at some currently unknown location.

But last night I made 'mac' and cheese with cauliflower instead of pasta. It had grilled chicken, bacon, mushrooms and was amazing.

I was all like this with my left overs at lunch
