(The one on my foot was taken right after I got it, so it is SUPER swollen, and my ankle I just snapped, and ooops didn't shave today

I fail. I don't think I have any pictures of mine to share right now.... but I"ll tell you about them (in order of when I got them)

1. small cross on my lower right back, got when I was 16.

2. chinese symbols for "trust/honesty"... tramp stamp. yup.

3. a sweet design that H drew on the back of my neck. My birthday is March 20, so I'm right between Pisces and Aries (fire and water signs); the tattoo is a combination of both

4. "big sister" in Hebrew on my ankle

5. "be merry" in German on my wrist

I just realized I have a thing for foreign language tattoos

One on my hip (both parents had cancer at one point but are survivors!)

One on my foot... I'm a fairytale lover - if you couldn't tell - I will be getting "...happily ever" after just like it on my other foot a few months before the wedding.

P.S. "Forza" means "Strength" in Italian - I am part Italian. ...and as you prob. know - purple is the color of general cancer awareness

Got this after living in India and traveling through Thailand. I sketched it, but unfortunately I used a leaf that I later realized looks kind of like pot. Oops. But I still love it! Needs a touch-up, though!

Thanks, Shan and Kayla! I kind of pulled together a bunch of elephant images I found on the interwebs and came up with that one.

I want another one someday, too - probably between my shoulder blades (a little higher, though). But not until I know for sure how I want it to look.

I don't have any pictures to post of mine, since I think the last time I had one taken was nearly 7 years ago by the artist. It covers my whole back, so I'm a little sheepish to show it off. I haven't had it worked on in 7 years, since I want a different artist to finish it, but I'll describe it:

2 large lizardy dragons (snake bodies, no legs), one orange with green accents, the other red with green accents, act as the frame for it. Their heads come together, their hands hold to create a cradle, and the bottoms of their tails intertwine. They've got huge wings, but I've only got the outline done for them so far, but that's the last bit of work left to be done. In the arm/cradle thing, there's an eclipse with a woman sleeping on their arms. The eclipse fades down into a starry sky and then a orange/pink/purple sunset over a desert. In the desert, there's a man in a suit standing with one foot up on top of a suitcase. He's on fire on one side, but holding a big round fish bowl in the other. He doesn't have a face, and won't. This burning man image is a refiguring of the artwork from Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" album artwork, my favorite song of all time. The sand he's standing on isn't anything special, just my skin with some sand dune outlines.

FI and I may get tattoos at some point, but they won't have names on them (I believe it's the kiss of death to a non-blood relationship). They'll coordinate, but probably not be quite the same.

Ha! You guys are surprising me with all your tattoos- I didn't necessarily think all of you would have them

I have one tattoo, about the size of a half dollar, in the middle of my back (an inch or two below the bra hooks) and it is a pink and orange hibiscus flower, with a "K" written right by it in my handwriting.
I put it there because that area shouldn't sag very much, and I only really have to see it when I specifically look for it. I tried to take a pic but it didn't work so no pic from me:) Maybe I can try for one tonight-

Oh, and no reason or sentiment behind it, I thought it was really pretty and I was in college. I got it with my best friend (it was her second one) and it was a fun experience.

I love seeing all these tats!! The foot tattoos are super cool too! I would love to get one on my foot but I think I might be too much of a wuss! Lol.

I have a few but my favorite is by far this one on my thigh. I also have the one on my shoulder blade in my siggy pic but the artwork turned out poorly so I want to get it covered up with a dragon fly but IDK If it will fit. I have some others but they're not super exciting... anywho, here is the thigh one

this is right after I got it so my foot is a tad swollen. I LOVE it still

It was a b-day present from my sister. No real deep meaning, I just like stars. I also have a small shooting star on my left shoulder
