Congratulations! I'm going through wedding day anxiety myself. My venue is indoors, but we have a lot of loading to do.

We were going to go outside until the last minute and then we switched. It was just way too windy and iffy. But it did make for some very dramatic pics with the dark sky. We took family pics and then it started pouring and I had to book it out of there, mostly because my flowers were paper. We went ahead and served dinner and then continued pics when it stopped. The photog showed me some pics he took at sunset that were amazing.

I was so nervous. I generally do pretty well with public speaking but I got up there and my legs were shaking and FI couldn't feel his hands. I was worried I'd sob but the nervousness helped me get through the vows we wrote to each other until the end. We both cried, but we were coherent. People really loved what we and our officiant did for the ceremony. It felt like it was done in a minute.

At first we were kind of bummed a lot of people left after dinner but the people that did stick it out were ready to party. We were there til close to 12 am. We were close to a BDubs and wanted to go there next but they were closing. A server from the venue saw us standing around and gave us a ride to a bar where we kept dancing, then that closed and some random dudes gave us a ride back to the hotel. It's pretty easy to hitchhike in a wedding dress, lol.

I was surprised by how much more things meant to us when things were kind of winding down. We did a sweetheart table and enjoyed being able to relax and eat together. Our first dance was a lot of swaying, but at the end we went to dance when we were almost the only ones left and it was so nice.

As anticipated, I wallked down the aisle myself and did not do a father-daughter dance, but my dad was on pretty good behavior, just refused to do anything that put him in the spotlight. He got a kick out of my wearing boots under my dress. The only bit of drama we got was at the end a friend said something that set of a friend that was doing video, so she bitch slapped him and then he threw a drink in her face. But they calmed down after that. Also we realized we were short a GM's tie, which I'm sure we'll find any minute when we clear out our house. It wasn't worth trying to find one.

Ultimately, we felt like we were kind of settling when we picked our venue and stuff, but things went wonderfully and staff did a wonderful job. Our bartender was amazing.

So enough blahblah, here's some pics people took. I can't wait for pro pics! We were very happy with our photogs. But cell phones are great for instant gratification!
