I am struggling with how to wear my hair for the wedding. Looking at pictures of small models with gorgeous hair is not helping me imagine if the styles will look good on me. Please share you wedding hair, or your inspiration for your hair.
Definitely go for a trial. Your stylist will be able to try out different styles for you and you can see what looks best. Don't wait for the day of the wedding.....you don't want to be stressed out!
Had a trial today for my shower....decided against a half up due to my hair being so thick and being really hot today. it will only be worse since I am getting married in August Heat. My dear friend is the one doing my hair....she is coming back in a few days to try some up-dos...maybe like this???
I'm in the same boat as OP. I have a fat face (lets be serious, it's true) so having all my hair up makes me self conscious, so I asked my hair stylist and she said all wedding hair is up and out of your face. So I don't know what the heck to do.

Not true. I am very self conscious of my round face and never wear my hair pulled all up and back.....it really accentuates my round face! My hair for our wedding was half up, half down. I pulled the sides back and clipped in a sparkly barrette, but still had enough side tendrils to make me feel comfortable. Do what makes you feel comfortable.
It's funny, because for my brother's wedding years ago we all got our hair done. I did half up half down but after seeing everyone will all up I switched thinking I had to do it like that for a formal event. To this day, I HATE the pictures with me in it and wish I would've left my hair like I felt comfortable with.
I have a round face, but very fine hair. With the beads on my dress, my hair was grabbing onto the beads and that actually hurt because it'd yank out a hair or two. So it's going up.
Plus, my face looks very young if I don't get all my hair done nicely. Which isn't bad, but looks off in my dress.
I have a very fat-round face as well. Originally I planned on wearing my hair down and just curly. But after getting my dress I realized it wouldn't suit. So i'm planning on a side pony with curls and some chunky bling. I still have yet to decide if I wanna wear a veil or not.
I love these hair styles - I am also definitely a fan of having my hair down to keep my round face from being too prominent. Here are my inspirations, I like that they are pulled back without seeming too structured.
P.S. Here's a link to my Pinterest board if y'all are looking for inspiration - I'm a pin-aholic so I have about 10 different wedding related boards, and one is dedicated to hair & makeup.
I think I might be able to get away with this one. I cut my hair shorter than I would have had I known I was getting married in august, but what's done is done. I also don't want my very round face emphasized.
I found that most wedding hair styles scrape the hair away from the face but I want a softer look. The photos will be mostly from the front and I want to look soft and pretty not harsh. I think look for styles that flatter from the front not just look pretty from the back! have a play around yourself, you will know what type of things suit you and you can then have a better idea. Your stylist can then make it work x Good luck
I'm going to have her try to do this to my hair... I'm a brunette but I think it's just lovely. He wants it down, so this will help get it out of my face as well.

My 2nd pick is this (this is if it's super humid):
Have you done a hair trial yet? You can take a couple styles and even ask the stylist to make a recommendation.
