  • If getting married in the Church is important to you, then play by the rules.  It's very common to have the 1 p.m. wedding.  Most Catholic weddings I've been to have those hours in between, but the bride and groom include on their wedding website a list of "sites to see" around their venue/hotel/ceremony during that time.  My sister also included a list of restaurants/bars to grab a drink at during those hours. It also allows people to freshen up/change clothes if they need to during that time.
