Snarky means sharply critical or cutting. There's a difference between snarky and stoopid and crass.

Your remark was just plain stoopid. If that's your idea of wit, I'm genuinely sorry. Most twelve year olds have a more developed sense of humor, and decency.

I think his name was Josh. And I know a Josh in real life that he DEFINITELY reminds me of. Not in looks, but in bitchiness. I think I like project runway Josh better though. He was elitist and bitchy in a fun way.

This got crazy out of hand.

For lurkers: giving a gift while asking someone to be in your wedding party is a bad idea because you are putting them on the spot. I had to decline being in one of my best friends weddings. Had she sat down and gave me a gift while she asked, and I had to decline, do I give the gift back? Do I keep the gift? Am I only being given the gift if I say yes? It's just awkward. Don't do it.'

Also, I'm slightly ashamed to admit I still don't know how to post GIFS...

If you really want to go the cutesy route, it is easy enough to give a gift AFTER someone says yes, rather than pressuring them with one before hand.
