Re: Which buffet would you enjoy more?

  • Ok, I want to help, but I refuse to read a wall of food words. Try some paragraphs or spacing or something, please.

Italian buffet... but for real, girl, fix this so it's readable if you want good feedback.

ETA: My reasoning is because I think the Asian buffet doesn't have as many crowd pleasing choices. And the Mediterranean buffet sounds f-ing amazing, but is more ethnic than many would be willing to try. I think the Med. could work with the right crowd however.

  • I personally would be all about the Mediterranean if I was coming to your wedding, but I'd be nervous about picking it for a wedding. It really depends on your crowd and their typical food habitats. The Asian especially could be a hard sell for those unused to South Eastern/Eastern Asian flavors.

If you've got a mostly meat and potato crowd, Italian is almost always a safe bet.

Definitely Italian. But that is a HUGE amount of food. You don't need all that. Trim it down to save money.
That is what they offer for each buffet i cant change it.
  • Italian.

  • Wow, that is a lot of food. I also vote Italian.

  • Also, if you  need someone to help you do a taste testing to figure out what you might want, I can make myself available. :)

  • It all sounds amazing, but Italian will be the most crowd-pleasing.

  • Italian will appeal to most people, including me. Kudos for the plethora of vegetarian options!
  • Italian would be best!

  • I would eat any of them, but Italian is a crowd-pleaser and Mediterranean would be my personal preference.

"I'm not a rude bitch.  I'm ten rude bitches in a large coat."

  • I think Italisn is the safest option honestly
  • I personally would enjoy the Mediteranean or Asian, in that order, but this is really a know your audience kind of thing - those two would work for most of my friends, but wouldn't work for my ultra-picky family.  You know your guests best, but I will say I agree that the Italian is by far the safest of the three options when considering wide-range appeal and potential picky/less adventurous eaters.
  • I would prefer the Mediterranean Buffet but we have too many meat and potatoes guest!
  • I'd prefer the Meditterranean but my family would starve to death with that one. Go for the Italian.

  • I would personally enjoy the first one the most
  • They all sound amazing, but I vote Italian!

  • That's a lot of food! My vote will have to go to Italian as well.

  • Italian buffet, then Mediterranean Buffet , lastly Asian.
    ~xoxo~

  • I'd prefer the Mediterranean or Asian. The Italian would be too boring for me.
  • Mediterranean or Italian but it seems to be ENORMOUS!!! ;) How many people are invited???
  • Italian. I have zero confidence that your caterer can pull off Thai or Medditerannean.

I confirm it's too much food... We will be 30 of us and our menu will be less important.
Maybe it's a little bit different beacuse we choosed a plated table service.
I can understand that you don't wanna risk to be out of food but it would be a shame to waist as money than food... :)

That's funny! I was wondering (especially after reading the vegetarian options in another thread) if the caterer could pull off Italian. The minute I read "with tomato sauce," I'm concerned. What kind of tomato sauce? And Italian ham? If they mean prosciutto, they should say it. And there are some seriously non Italian options on the Italian menu. Nothing wrong with non-Italian food, of course. But I'd be really pissed off if I paid good money to a caterer and got Olive Garden quality, which shouldn't be served to Italian hedgehogs.
I'd go with whatever the chef's specialty is.
