  And you can eat barbecue without being worried about your dress. Why am I assuming that's the meal of choice for a camo wedding? Not that I don't enjoy some good barbecue.

  i just don't understand pink camo. isn't the point of camo to camouflage? where can you blend in when wearing pink camo -- some kind of fairy forest?

  Maybe deer are color blind?  I know cats supposedly can't see pink/red.
  
  ETA:  "Deer are essentially red-green color blind like some humans. Their color vision is limited to the short (blue) and middle (green) wavelength colors. As a result, deer likely can distinguish blue from red, but not green from red, or orange from red."

  I'm not sure why I was thinking about this, but for one of those crafty DIY sorts, this would be a really easy fix. Buy standard white gown, or a green BM dress. Go out into the woods and gather up sticks and leaves and moss. Use adhesive of your choice to sew/glue items to dress. 
  
  to take the hunting/outdoorsy theme a bit further - instead of mineral makeup or self tanner, use mud. 

  instead of perfume, use deer urine. 

  instead of heels, wear hiking boots - or if you're super classy, waders. 
  
  use fishing flies/fish hooks/bullet casings to make jewelry

  carry a bouquet of cattails

  At the risk of being told to fuck off, I have to say it.

  If Honey Boo Boo's mama does it, it's a bad idea.

   The reason the producers have her wearing a camo dress is so that people can laugh at her. Nobody looks good in camo. And that means nobody.
