Because FI left yesterday to go on a 3 day bachelor party/trip. They went upstate NY, and will be spending the next few days camping, playing football, manhunt, and whatever other guy activities there are. So it's just the kitties and I for the next few days
I guess I can use this time to watch all my girly shows and movies!
In other news, I have been pretty busy at work lately. One of the reasons being that I joined a departmental competition - basically we had to create a marketing collateral and sales concept for one of our (randomly assigned) products. I was one of the presenters on my team yesterday, and I was pretty nervous leading up to the presentation, but when it was my turn, totally nailed it. My team still lost, though. Womp Womp. I guess another team had a better concept - although I think ours was better, but whatever lol. After work, the team and I went to wallow in our sorrows with some beers and fancy appetizers.
My friend from work that I posted about before is back to driving me insane. She has a date tonight with some guy she met on the subway (apparently they went to the same college), and she would not stop talking about how he is an engineer, so he has to make a bunch of money, maybe in the 6 figures,owns a house he rents out for at least 2K, blah blah blah. Um, calm down, this is your first "date", who cares if he makes 6 figures or not?? She brought out the snarky in me earlier today.
That's my Tuesday so far. I'm also really tired because I barely slept last night. I'm planning on going for a run later, and maybe reading my book and watching a chick flick. How is everyone's day going?
