    My H is a General Superintendent for an Electrical Contractor company. He had to terminate an employee because he was habitually late. The next day, the employee's wife AND sister showed up at the job site begging for him to give him his job back. H explained policy and that the termination still stood. H said he felt sorry for the employee as he sat there with his wife and sister, and looked like a beaten puppy. He said he was embarrassed for him. Moral of the story, let your partner fight their own battles at work. The employer will not refer to bitchy pants, they'll refer to crazy pants.
