  We had a limo take us from the church to the reception.  I was thankful that my parents paid the limo driver extra to take the long way there and give us some time to ourselves.  I was also thankful that my husband surprised me with 3 dozen roses in our hotel room that night.

  This.  Because July in MD can be hot and humid as fuck.  We lucked out with high 70s/low 80s and no humidity with blue skies for our wedding day.  It was fabulous.

  It was insanely humid and disgusting the week of our wedding. Then it was pouring rain the night before the rehearsal and it was raining up until about 2 hours before the rehearsal. The high temp on our wedding day was around 78, we had no humidity, and there were no mosquitos because the rain had scared them off (outdoor reception next to a lake so we were worried). We woke up the morning after and it was muggy as all get out, so we felt extra blessed. That, and the town had cleaned up the massive water main break that had shut down the only road leading to our venue by the time we went for the rehearsal even though they kept saying they had no idea how they were going to shut off the water and the road would be closed indefinitely.
