Hey everyone, I wanted to ask you wonderful ladies if I am just letting the excitment get to me, or if I should be concerned.
Back in February of 2014 I searched around and found a hair/make-up artist that could come to our wedding venue and do mine and my moms hair the morning of the wedding. She came with many great reviews and her prices seemed to be very reasonable. (Not super cheap but not crazy expensive). I contacted her for a quote and we both agreed to move forward. She was very quick to respond to any questions I had via email or even text message.
Fast forward to July when I contacted her via email to set up a trial date for hair/make-up. I sent her a message the beginning of the month and no reply. So I sent her a second message a few days later thinking maybe it didn't go through. She responded with the dates she had open. In the meantime my final payment was due, so I paid the remaining balance and contacted her again to let her know it was paid and told her which date would work for me. The date we had set was sometime this Sunday.
After a few more days, I noticed she didn't get back to me with a time. So I contacted her again (3rd email) to confirm that she was still available. Nothing. So I call her and leave a voice mail. Nothing for two more days. So I figure, let me try texting again. I sent her a text saying I was just following up with my last email/voice message to see when she wanted to meet for a trial. She responds with "Hey". Now I'm strating to get a little upset, but I respond back again asking her about the trial appointment. She claims to not be home, but will let me know shortly...that was two and half days ago.
So my question is, am I being crazy or is she being very unprofessional? Also she is already paid in full, (my credit card statement tells me so) and I am under contract but I am starting to get worried that she may not deliver her promise! What should I do to get my appointments honored??? I don't want to be too pushy but I want answers!
Thanks in advance!
