And it was great! I booked some people who would travel to the hotel to do everyone's hair and makeup the day of the wedding. The pickings are slim in my area of salons that do hair and makeup, and none are convenient to my venue. I googled and found the salon that would travel in a town about 45 minutes from here, they had great reviews, and I loved the pictures they had up. I wasn't to stressed about not having a trial before paying the deposit until I read some stories on here.
Both the hair and makeup girls were awesome! They were so friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. I showed pictures of what I had in mind and they ran with it. For the hair, she said it will be more polished and secure the day of the wedding. This was just to get an idea of what it will look like and make sure I like the general style. Even so, it held up great even with me laying on it on the couch later that night. No worries about it holding all day for the wedding!
