Knotties, thanks for the well wishes this morning about my job! I finally got an email around 9pm that I can start on October 1 instead of November 3. This is awesome-- yeah, September would be financially better, but I still get a lot of time after the bar to just relax. Then I get to start almost 5 weeks early, get a paycheck sooner, and just generally don't jump out of my skin with boredom.
The extra pay is about equal to 30% of our wedding budget and will make things way more comfortable. Plus our lease is up in November so moving will be a lot easier (if we have to move, we'll see).
YES! I'm just super grateful I get to start early and excited to get on with this phase of my career.
