This afternoon is just dragging by today. I've been trying to focus on work but I keep getting distracted by a) thoughts of my Bachelorette party this weekend and b) all of the remaining wedding planning items I need to get done (i.e must-have photo list for photographer, finalized day of schedule, seating chart)...

What are you ladies day-dreaming about today?

lmao when I went there for my breakup burrito a couple weeks ago (I broke up with chipotle. Our relationship was unhealthy and full of dairy products), I texted FI and told him we should have chipotle cater the wedding.

He was not into it.

AMEN - though i'm currently sipping on a tall skinny vanilla latte at this point. It's just not doing it for me caffeine wise though.

Haha - I actually made a joke to my FI about having Chipotle cater the rehearsal dinner instead of doing a restaurant or something and he (w/o saying anything to me) immediately calls up his mother and asks her to make it happen. Not gonna lie - this is so us and i'm pretty stoked. I love me some Chipotle.

15 days here.... no Bachelorette party or anything for me, but my daughter is in a musical this weekend so I'm just trying to make it through the week. She also just got invited to audition for the local children's symphony orchestra 3 days before the wedding, so I'm hiding from the Drama Queen. (13 is TOUGH, y'all!)

I'm working on our Shutterfly album for our trip last month. It makes my fingers and hand hurt, moving photos and such with the track pad. I'm on country 2 of 6, so I'm getting there.

@StitelME‌ she's in the Misadventures of Mr Toad, which I had never heard of until this. Since I get to see it 4 times now, I guess I won't soon forget it!

I can only do Shutterfly if I have an actual mouse. The track pad and their layout drive me insane. I love the finished product, but I don't love the slow load times and random crashing. I have learned to save frequently.

I am currently daydreaming about getting this stack of files off my desk. I don't have the energy to turn that daydream into a reality yet...

I am also daydreaming about the spaghetti I'm making for dinner tonight. Like, hardcore:

I wanted spaghetti Friday night - nope, traveling. McD's. Not good. Also not spaghetti.
I wanted spaghetti Saturday night - nope, the Red Bar in Grayton had shrimp and crawfish penne, which is close, but I missed the waiter saying they would also do double-shrimp-no-crawfish penne because I was in the middle of asking FI if it would be okay to ask for no-crawfish penne (yech crawfish). Had blackened grouper instead. Good. But not spaghetti.
I wanted spaghetti Sunday night - nope, FI cooked pork medallions with tomato risotto and salsa verde. Delicious. But not spaghetti.
I wanted spaghetti Monday night - nope, went to the Back Porch in PCB and got shrimp and scallops. Good. But not spaghetti.
I wanted spaghetti Tuesday night - nope. Traveling. Got BK. Not BAD. But not spaghetti.

It is now Wednesday night. I am going to eat me some damn spaghetti.

Congrats to the girls daydreaming about bachelorettes though!

ETF screwy (unnecessary) bulleted list of all the times I wanted spaghetti and didn't get it. Did I mention it was unnecessary?

I'm so excited about this weekend- Saturday I'm going to go visit friends and we are going to get fancy and day drink.

I'm also trying to figure out what I want for dinner, but I am feeling fairly lazy. I might polish off the snickerdoodle ice cream bars that we have in the freezer and call that dinner.

It crashed a few times when I was making my wedding album and the parent albums. I think it was the "undo" button that normally made it crash for me.

This weekend, my girls and I are headed down to the beach. I told my MoH all I wanted was a weekend where I could do absolutely nothing but relax and day drink. So yay for the beach!

I made homemade tomato sauce and meatballs yesterday. DH doesn't like spaghetti, so we hand penne. He is working late tonight so I think I will have meatballs again but pair it with spaghetti.

It's my second day back at the lab since the honeymoon. I've started everything back up at the lab, but I am in the waiting phase where I don't have enough of anything to do an experiment. I have a bunch of papers to read and data to put together, but I hate spending all day on the computer. I'm daydreaming about a quick drive home and a good night's sleep tonight - kitty has been wrapping herself around my head and trying to groom my hair while I sleep so I haven't been sleeping well. She is anxious about DH and I leaving right now (since we were gone for 3 weeks) so if I lock her out of the bedroom she freaks out, meows a ton and body slams the door.

Today flew by. Had lunch where I consumed a very tasty (and likely very strong) raspberry margarita. And shrimp and scallops. And a cookie. And cheddar bay biscuits. Next thing I knew, it was 5 PM. Oops!

Also: I left work about an hour and a half later than on a normal day but came home to my FI cooking dinner. While I fed our adorable rescue dog that we got three months ago (almost exactly), he poured me a glass of merlot without me having to ask. Man, I love him.

The bad: found out this afternoon that the new exam software company we just contracted with is the same one that totally f'ed up the Bar exam last week. And contracts already signed so there's nothing we can do about it. Oy vey.

The good: just got word from our photog that the pictures from the wedding are done and being uploaded as I type this!! She said it would likely be 4 - 6 weeks and it's only been about 3 so talk about a very, VERY pleasant Hump Day surprise

@StiteIME Dude I'm so dreaaaaaamiiiing of my bachelorette party too, and it's three weeks away! When yours exactly? @beethery thanks for being so evil now I want burritos really bad! And Chipotle ones at that and there are no Chipotles in Quebec! But I made some coconut chicken and chickpea curry, so I'll have that instead. Just had two chocolate cookies and a cup of coffee though
