  If you'd like having her there and think she might want to come, I don't see any harm in inviting her. 
  
  Have you kept in touch at all?  I invited some people who I hadn't seen in longer than 3 years, but had kept in at least semi-regular contact with.  I also invited my piano/singing teacher, who I'd kept up with by email, and while she ended up not being able to make it, she was very happy and excited for us.  
  
  I think that since she was your teacher for such a long time, I wouldn't think she'd think an invite was just a gift grab.

  I hadn't seen most of family in over 3 years because of where we all live. Same with some of my friends. Some came, some didn't.
