Last wedding I went to was at 7 wks pregnant with M2. I haven't really dressed up in 4 years. We are gong to a Friday night wedding downtown in mid September. What's in style? If you want to pick something out I'm a 12 and carry weight in my belly. I have good legs though.

I prefer a v neck and something I can wear a normal bra with. I love the white house black market one, but don't know about floor length. It's not a formal wedding so I had more cocktail party mindset.

if you carry your weight in your belly, get something in an a-line without a fitted waist (specifically, a fitted waist at actual waist level). you want something a little higher that will skim over your belly and fall away from your body.

I carry my weight in my belly too, and the last thing I would wear is a Peplum, they don't look good on very many people. My stick thin DD, who is 21 can get away with it, but most people just look hippy.

Peplum dress covers the belly. I've never seen any that looked hippy. Another suggestion would be to look on pinterest for some outfit ideas.

it's not that it covers the belly. it's that it draws attention and adds more visual weight to what is already there. if the peplum is long enough to cover the belly, you might as well wear an a-line.

it's the same with a pencil skirt. it's tight across the belly and highlights the waist, instead of the thinnest part, which is right under the bust.
