    YES I DID!  I'm excited for this season.  I really hope I like it again, I just couldn't get into Season 3 and I missed it.  

    One of the things I think that made me not like it was the lack of a really centralized location like Murder House or The Asylum, so I'm hoping the Freak Show/Carnival will help restore that for me.

    And this is Jessica Lange's last season, so I'm excited to see where they go after this.  They just added Patti LaBelle, did you see that?  I really didn't think the cast could get any more star power, but with Patti and also Michael Chiklis (who I LOVE), it's got to be one of the best casts period.

    I hadn't heard that!  I just went and checked out the cast.

    October is going to take for.e.ver to get here.  I'm really looking forward to this fall - Boardwalk Empire starts back up mid-Sept and The Walking Dead starts in October as well.

    @peaseblossom55 - there are a few AHS fans here.  I believe @Nolabridesmaid and @ftrmrs0 watched last season, as well as TT, but she's not around here much anymore.

    American Horror Story: Freak Show finally has a premiere date, according to the Hollywood Reporter: the fourth installment in Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy’s macabre anthology series will debut Wednesday, October, 8 at 10pm.

    According to an FX log line,  American Horror Story: Freak Show “begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”

    Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe and Evan Peters are all returning to the show, along with new faces like  Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, Patti LaBelle and Jyoti Amge, the world’s smallest woman.

    Hopefully it's better than season 3. I saw bits of 1 and 2 and really wanted to stick it out. It was just...insufferable teens...gah! Some of the racially-charged aspects/undertones just seemed so awkward.

    Dharma, the show took a lot of heat for that. 

    You know, maybe you just identified the another issue for me.  B/c I could just not care about the ins and outs of the school story.  And it was taking up a lot in the beginning (I really only made to episode 3, I think).
